Sasuke will defeat Madara..

I think it would be Sasuke that defeats Madara rather than Hashirama. Sasuke will NOT solo Madara

I know this sounds crazy, but think about it; why would Kishimoto hype Madara's character up (Madara waiting, Meteors, Mokuton, Rinnegan) just for him to lose to Hashirama again?

Sasuke will defeat Madara and be the Uchiha that cleansed the hatred that Madara ensued within the clan, which can give him the edge to actually becoming Hokage.

Sasuke = New Uchiha / Madara = Old Uchiha

We haven't seen the full extent of Sasuke's EMS for a reason. Perhaps he will reveal a new power that will give him an advantage over Madara.

Or, maybe he'll use a joint attack with Naruto.

It would be more interesting than watching Hashirama and Madara fight, to be honest... It sort of seems boring.

But, I doubt Sasuke could take this battle alone. He'd need some massive power up to go toe to toe and win against an Edo Tensei Madara.

Sasuke pretty much has to be one of the people to deal the finishing blow on Madara.. he wants to change what Madara started, and there's no better way of doing that than destroying him.

I sense the bijuus inside Naruto are for a temporary boost to defeat the juubi as well.

edit: granted, Sasuke could get a powerup or Madara could be rinne tenseid and a weakened Madara, or partially weakened Madara is killed off.

Sasuke will not solo Madara, Madara has EMS and the Rinnegan, plus Mokuton, and 100 years of experience over Sasuke.

Sasuke only has the EMS, so it is irrelevant how strong it makes Sasuke, Madara would crush Sasuke. Plus Sasuke doesn't have any sealing abilities anyway.

Madara will fall at a team effort of multiple characters actions.

It's actually pretty obvious from my eyes for a few reasons

1) Sasuke hasn't had a proper "fight" since Danzo. Zetsu's he played with, and Kabuto he couldn't go all out against.

2) Sasuke hasn't really been in the spotlight since Danzo. Ever since then he's been overshadowed by Itachi, Kabuto, Orochimaru, The Hokages. It's been literally years since Sasuke really got an epic fight/moment. (Besides Sasuke's decision chapter)

3) Following up from #2. Naruto has had tons and tons of epic moments, new moves in this war. Kishi considers Sasuke and Naruto equal so expect some major, major panel time for Sasuke soon.

4) If anyone should fix, clense the Uchiha clan it should be an Uchiha. A pure Uchiha - and that's Sasuke. Basically it goes to his original goal and that's to restore his clan.

5) We've barely seen anything from EMS Sasuke. Expect something like Enton Covered Perfect Susanno equipped with Totsuka blade and Yata Mirror.

6) Madara still hasn't noticed him. Kishi is waiting for that moment.


Sasuke will get a massive powerup soon, and his big fight of the war will be against Madara. - It's obvious. Uchiha vs Uchiha.

Naruto won't be fighting Madara. He will unlock his true power and fight the final form Juubi instead.

O.t. i think the premise of your theory is correct . I think there will be some sort of madara and sasuke event coming . Helping stop edo-tensai then getting rid of madara . Might be reason enough for the leaf and alliance to get over his past trangressions.
