Sasuke will defeat Madara..

Sasuke arguably can't beat [alive] Itachi; do you honestly believe he stands a chance against Madara in his Edo Tensei state? Also, Madara cannot be killed and that disintegrates the idea completely. ​

He won't solo him though. It will be Sasuke (Perfect Susanoo+Yata+Totsuka probably) and Hashirama vs Madara. He will deal the final blow to "cleanse" the Uchiha of the Curse of Hatred.

Well, Sasuke has only gotten stronger since his battle with Itachi. He and maybe other ninja will deal the finishing blow to Madara then seal him off, simple.

I think it would be Sasuke that defeats Madara rather than Hashirama. Sasuke will NOT solo Madara

I know this sounds crazy, but think about it; why would Kishimoto hype Madara's character up (Madara waiting, Meteors, Mokuton, Rinnegan) just for him to lose to Hashirama again?

Sasuke will defeat Madara and be the Uchiha that cleansed the hatred that Madara ensued within the clan, which can give him the edge to actually becoming Hokage.

Sasuke = New Uchiha / Madara = Old Uchiha

We haven't seen the full extent of Sasuke's EMS for a reason. Perhaps he will reveal a new power that will give him an advantage over Madara.

Or, maybe he'll use a joint attack with Naruto.

Here is what I see it as: Madara is the root of all of Sasuke's hatred - He survived against a superior opponent, only to use said opponent's power to live longer and awaken a new power. He in turn trained Obito, instilling the Curse of Hatred, who in turn convinced Itachi to kill the clan to spare his life. All of it stems from Madara primarily. Hashirama will probably confront Madara but Sasuke will probably want a part in it to finish Madara (I predict he'll get PS+Enton Armor+Yata+Totsuka so they stand a chance against Madara and it is entirely plausible that he would get them).

Naruto is different. All his pain comes directly from Obito. Kidnapped him, forced Kurama out of Kushina, who subsequently killed both his parents and forced Minato to seal Kurama within him, which made him live a life of obscurity up until mid to end of part 1. His final battle will be against Obito. Don't kill me for saying this; He'll get the Rinnegan to fully embody the Sage to fight Obito. Obito will become the Juubi's Jin realizing Madara's intentions aren't entirely with the plan they made, so he takes it into his own hands. Final battle will be Naruto (Full BM with aspects of Sage Mode+Rinnegan as Pseudo Juubi Jin) vs Obito (Juubi Jin+Kamui+Mokuton+Rinnegan).

This way, both Naruto and Sasuke finish off the roots of their problems/hatred in this war.

I am betting for a Tnj - together with a confrontation, since Sasuke's appearance holds more than just a passing resemblance to Izuna. There is an allegorical factor to Itachi-Sasuke and Madara-Izuna relationship.

It would be poetic justice for Sasuke to be the one to deal the finishing blow on him, the new Uchiha vanquishing the personification of his clan's Curse of Hatred (Madara) like Túrin Turambar piercing Morgoth's black heart with his sword Anglachel (Totsuka Naruto version) avenging and freeing himself and the Children of Hurin from Morgoth's Curse (Kishi is a massive Tolkien/LOTR fan btw)
