Nagato is stronger than Naruto.Sm Naruto has more of a chance, he has better sensing abilities in SM and taking in Sm chakra too much would turn Nagato to stone.

Honestly explosions doesn't earn you the match, Nagato excels and counters everything Naruto can throw at him why? Cause its all chakra, no matter how big a tbb is its still getting eaten up by Nagato.Foolish Naruto fans.

Edo Nagato would defeat Nagato. However, alive manga Nagato would most probably lose against KCM Naruto, BM Naruto would pwn him.

In Bijuumode, Naruto has access to the full power of Kurama and already back than, Nagato was overwhelmed by his power by latter breaking out of Chibaku Tensei with brute force in an incomplete state and once he pierced Naruto with a Chakra receiver, he by himself was overwhelmed by Kyuubi's Chakra instead of affecting him with the Rinnegan's Chakra. He was able to handle 5 Bijuu and even Obito was overwhelmed for a moment by thinking he was sweating. The power of his Bijuumode is backed up with the mastery of his Senninmode and a lot of toad summons; further he proved his mastery of Kagebunshin by creating thousands of them already in the first series, can make them enter the Sage- Kyuubichakra- and Bijuumode and could back up the whole alliance with the Chakra of Kurama. As if this wasn't enough, he possesses a portion of the other Bijuu's Chakra, making the Juubi being aroused. Last but not least he possesses full knowledge about Nagato's power and has Kurama as a mental back up who can support Naruto with his intelligence and share all of his knowledge.

Naruto has definitely surpassed Nagato, no doubt.
