It was actually done perfectly in the anime, the music, everything. It gave me goosebumps when i saw it for the first time lol

OMG I loved that speech but the i got bored waiting for the anime once a week so i caught up with the manga. I put myself in a worse dilema cuz now i gotta wait a month for the new chapter mang now i gotta watch the anime when i already know whats gonna happen it took away the old feeling when i would watch an episode and end up MindBlown lol

Well, he's voiced by a female seiyuu and got a girly hairstyle. So, genitalia apart, Armin being a woman, is pretty accurate.

As for the speech, it was great but nothing like best speech ever. It had despair and emotions right, Marina did a good job (not excellent but good) with screaming and the OST was awesome (speaking of OST, it's getting better week-by-week). That being said, it had 2 drawbacks for me - the start-stop pauses between Armin's speech was too long and made the speech slow-paced. Another thing that diluted the impact of the speech, was the cringing voice of that General. He got an irritating scream and to me, it suppressed Armin's emotional dialogues' impact at times.
