Then why was Naruto lunging forward whereas Sasuke got inside positioning and has his arm completely straightened? He won on skill and reach, simple as that.

They both lunged forward :sy: Other wise how would he pierce Naruto? You need forward movement for that.. Unless you think somehow the momentum they got from jumping towards each other stopped? Like I said Sasuke aimed for the chest and Naruto aimed for the headband to prove a point.. if you can't accept it then its not my problem..

Because it's showing what Naruto and Sasuke was aiming for.. it closed in on Sasuke's headband while it closed in on Naruto's chest.. Why would they have to show the whole body? It would make it harder for the manga readers to see what naruto was aiming for. anymore excuses?

Yeah I know that Sasuke is taller there's no denying that but that doesn't mean he had a way longer arm length.. As I've said there similar in length even if sasuke's is longer its not by much. You still don't get it do you? Naruto purposely aimed for his headband which I've stated before and explained.. Sasuke went to the chest becasue he wanted to land a fatal blow Sasuke had his fingers closed for a piercing attack while Naruto had his hands open hence why it seems that Sasuke's reach is farther.

Break every bone to bring sasuke back, scratch the forehead/headband.
Clearly a hit to the face wouldnt do much to sasuke, especially since he tanked one b4 and w/o CM. Scratching the band was only one left that naruto still could do.
After suffering a chidori(or whats left of it) hit to a chest cuts back on ur riposte power.

Yeah thats totally why Sasuke tried to end the fight quickly.. they were both at there limit there is no denying that.. So it would've been a tie. How would Naruto prove his point if they both knokced each other out? It wouldve been a tie and Naruto wouldn't have been able to prove his point. True but its not the same as going with the intent to kill.. Sasuke was going to do anything to reach his goal.. Naruto was just insignificant to him.. Naruto said tha to show Sasuke how far he's willing to go for his friend.
edit: Naruto could've summoned Gambunta so obviously he didn't go all out.
