It took Bee less than a second to break Itachi's genjutsu, seen by the fact that he parried the shuriken.
Also wrong saying Tsukuyomi would end the fight. Tsukuyomi takes days in the illusion world and the bijuu only needs a second to awaken the Jin. I don't know who told you that if Tsukuyomi is used the Bijuu would not be present in the illusion world, but you are wrong. Their subconscious is linked.

You are wrong for the mind linked thing.. If that were true, perfect jin couldn't break out of it because their beast would be trapped in the genjutsu too. Here is how you break someone from a genjutsu, that's what the beast does to the jinchuriki

tsukuyomi would end the fight (Itachi's anyway), even if the beast takes one second to break their host, it is already too late. Itachi's is instant, one second Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai were talking and the other kakashi was one the floor. One second is all it takes for itachi to win using Tsukuyomi. The beast won't have enough time to break them out of it
