[Question] Fairy Tail's first death ?

I just read chapter 334, and at the last pages found this :

Could this be the very first death, or is Hiro going to use Fairy Tail's parallel term to Plot no Jutsu, and let him live ?

I love him, the character i mean, but I just want to see someone die.

I doubt he will stay dead. Hiro uses the dragon art Love to keep his characters strong and alive.

I don't read FT anymore but if he really did die I could go back to read the manga again, some main characters deaths would make it better and I would be able to take it seriously again. So I'll wait a bit to see if he lives or not, if he lives through this I don't think I'll dedicate some of my time to FT.

Anyone who thinks he is going to die is expecting too much from Hiro to be honest. Hiro will find a way to bring him back.

I predict:
-Natsu or someone will go back in time to save him or something along the lines.
-Ultear will sacrifice her life with an asspull ability that will kill her but bring Gray back to life (She will do this to redeem herself for wanting to kill Rogue, an "innocent" human being).

It sort of is sad how "deaths" in this manga can't even sway my emotions because I know it is just a matter of time until they will come back unscathed in one way or another.

Gray will live somehow, its just the style of FT, don't take the stuff seriously, it is a feel good action, fantasy, ecchi, we all love eachother friendship series. There is no real uber vilan, I guess Achnologia or Zeref, but the rest are just temporary villians who either do a 180, die (yes a few have) or just leave.
