OOC: First... One of the first... matters little xDOOC: You're welcome my dear first RP battling opponentOr one of the first..
A large cloud of dust is envelops a partial section of the training area upon Mathias' speedy entrance..
So you're interested in learning about sealing correct?..
What can you tell me about it? Why would you like to learn it? What are some known users from the manga that specialize in sealing? And what are some strengths and weaknesses? (Pros and/or Cons regarding sealing)
OOC: Well said ;p (Btw you're my first Fuuin student so bare with me. u_u)OOC: First... One of the first... matters little xD
While setting down his equipment, Shinta notes a cloud of dust suddenly clouding the area immediate him. Must be Mathias-sensei? He thought to himself. Before he could even get a chance to continue his thought, Mathias' voice rang through the now subsiding dust, confirming to Shinta the identity of this speedy character.
Indeed I am interested in the arts of sealing. Pondering the rest of Mathias' question, Shinta then gave his answer:
Fuuinjutsu is the ninja skill of concealing objects inside of a specially designed Kanji or other symbol, infused with chakra, to make transport of large and heavy objects much easier. It can also be used to carry many more smaller objects than one would usually be able to carry.
The symbol used to seal an item, or even supress chakra, can be placed on a scroll or other piece of paper, or can be directly placed on someone's body.
We have seen each of the three Sannin, skilled in performing and releasing complex seals: Tsunade's Yin seal on her forehead, used to store chakra; Orochimaru sealing Naruto from accessing more of the Kyuubi's chakra; and Jiraiya being able to release Orochimaru's seal on Naruto and alter the original seal placed on him my Minato. We also know that the Uzumaki Clan was well versed in Sealing and Minato also learned a lot from Kushina about sealing, as well as being proficient with his own Space/Time Seals.
As for some benefits of sealing, the first one would be the ability to conceal weapons on one's body, such as when Sasuke sealed the Windmill shurken in a symbol on his wrists. Another benefit would be the ability to seal traps onto objects or even one's self, Such as Danzou with his Reverse Four Symbols Seal.
A negative would be that to seal a person's chakra (Such as when Yamato tried to suppress Naruto's chakra with the sealing tag) you would have to get within arms reach and apply the seal directly, leaving you susceptible to attack in the process.

Ways to counter this technique
Yes sensei.
Strong points
Weak points
- This technique can be used to distance one's self from their opponent, by the gust of wind being strong enough to force them back. The strength of the wind could be used to not only force your opponent back away from you, but it could push them into objects like a rock or a tree, or get you out of range of a jutsu you may be in range of (primarily close or mid ranged)
- The dust this jutsu could pick up from preforming this jutsu could also cloud the sight of your opponent, giving you the opprotunity to get out of sight and used ambush based attacks (if that's your game plan) or escape from a situation you feel is out of your immediant range of thinking. Also the diversion it could play for the moment, blinding your opponent could give you the immediant go ahead to follow through with another jutsu that they wouldn't expect.
- Lastly, this jutsu comes in handy for deflecting and enhancing projectiles. When in terms of your opponent throwing projectiles towards you, you could use this jutsu, the gust of wind, being stronger then the natural strength of a shinobi's thrust in throwing projectiles like basic kunai or shuriken, would force them back towards one's opponent or simply render their attack towards you uselses by neutralizing the velocity at which it travels and they'll fall to the ground prematurely. In terms of you throwing your own projectiles, shooting your gust of wind in conjunction with the direction of your projectiles would increase the speed of the weapons and also how much force is behind them, meaning they head quicker to your opponent (harder to evade) and if they hit, the force behind it will cause more damage (via deeper wounds from penetration).
Combinations-strategies Primarily I see this jutsu as being a great use with simple projectiles like shuriken or kunai. You could toss your weapons and the wind traveling in conjunctin could add speed and penatration power. You. Also a wind-fire combination, using a fire based jutsu (if you have the training that is) and then using this jutsu to enhance the potency and range of the flames. However if both jutsu exhale from the mouth, this jutsu may need to be used by another party such as a shadow clone or summon. I could also see this technique useful for getting off the ground, shooting the flow of wind dowards and that could set you up for an arial attack to use against your opponent.
- For larger projectiles like fuma Shuriken or anything with a greater density, the wind may have a harder time deflecting them if thrown by your opponent.
- Since this is a relitave lower level jutsu, any fire technique would be able to make it's way through the winds and that would be an easy counter for this jutsu as well.
- Also considering the territory, if in a territory where there is a lot of dust. When this jutsu is preformed, just as you could use it as cover for another attack or an escape, your opponent could use it in the same way. The dust being between the two of you (if enough is gathered that is) could block your sight of your opponent, which is always a flaw that could be used against you.
Ways to counter this technique Using a fire jutsu to force through the flames, making it useless, or using a more powerful wind technique to render their winds useless and also to dispell the sand/dust. Also a jutsu of any kind that could provide a mass of movement in the opposite direction with strong enough force to combat the winds like a powerful/large flow of water or large amounts of earth (via earth jutsu) that would prove to be to dense for the winds to move, also if the earth is moving at it's own velocity towards their opponent, the winds could be useless. Also blocking the winds with some sort of barrier works just as good too.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tori!
*I make the bird seal and I begin to inhale through my nose. I breath in from my diaphram, feeling the wind chakra deep inside my body. I feel the flow channeling from my diaphram into my lungs and I exhale through my mouth. The air coming out of my mouth, fused with my chakra creates a gust of wind, gathering the minirals from the ground (the dust) and creating a large gust of dusty wind, which disperses from a steady stream into the air after s certian distance*
Sensei is this good? ^^
I hope Reborn doesn't mind me stealing his place. It was foreseen, I am an Iwarian.
Strong points
Weak points
- Well lets start with the most basic string point of this technique, the technique is a highly compressed orb of water, the key word here is compressed, meaning the space is tightly packed with water molecules thus giving it an amazing density and speed. The orb itself somewhat receives the property of a bullet, thus giving it a title of rain bullet.
- A very, very interesting point in the jutsu that i managed to point out is that this technique says; "user will be knocked back", if you notice that part it is one of the most amazing use of this low ranked jutsu. What if something requires you to push yourself back, and channeling chakra into the ground is not possible to bring pillars or likes. This jutsu can be shot in one direction and due to its compressed space property it exerts equally opposite force at the user thus sending him backwards, can be used to dodge certain jutsus or avoid direct hits.
- Last but not the least is the main purpose of this justu, the two actions that states the main offensive side of it; "If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced." It can have two effects, one is it may send the opponent flying away AS user flies back too, and given the range as short it can be a good way to increase distance between the two ninjas. Second is throwing the opponent off-balance and using it to develop a counter position and get hold of the battle.
Combinations-strategies; A very amazing combination strategy is using it as a distraction or use as speed boost in a freeform battle. So, what if my character needs a sudden boost, I release the jutsu on the ground facing back, I then turn around slicing or performing a free form action move. But not only that, lets look at another way, it can be used as some jutsu that attacks the user from behind, so this justu can be used to lure the opponent or push them back to that certain location to attack from the back.
- Well, like everyone else I noticed the rank as a weak point. Event with all those uses a weak technique is a weak technique. Its given rank is D, thus making it the lowest, so even a direct hit won't be enough to sieze the victory in the battle, however it may give more opportunities to attack, but that does not change the fact that it is the lowest possible rank. (excluding E)
- The range, the second weakness is that its range is way too limited. Although I found that fact absurd because it seems to be a compressed ball like bullet, it should be at-least midrange to fully use it to your advantage, but since it isn't it can only be used in close range, and will fail if used at distance of mid/long. It can be used as a supplement way of throwing yourself back even if it doesn't reaches the opponent.
- The third and last weak point is the advantage I stated earlier, it can also back fire; "the user will be knocked back", the technique has a condition of high pressure forces on either side, so what if you do not want to change your position, no matter what you try you have to make sure your stability stays unaffected when using this technique.
Ways to counter this technique; A very easy and fun counter against this technique is earth shields and earth pillar. To make a dramatic fight one can use a simple shield or cover the body part that is being attacked. There is another earth technique which not only adds an armor but also increases your Taijutsu skills, but since its heavy it decrease users speed, but since its heavy it may be able to counter the pressure of this rain technique.
Blizzard after completely describing the technique, he closes his eyes, and gathers the spirit that he had earned in the past long hours of meditation, using his mastery over wind and water he gathers both elements, water to form the orb and wind to compress it to such level that its compression forms a very high density water orb/ bullet, he then aims for the tree that stood infront of him, keeping a constant chakra supply in the orb and having ful control over the orb's shape using chakra manipulation he extends his arms and releases a sudden pressured chakra behind the orb to make it act and fire as a bullet, its strength so amazing that tears the ree back bending it and making it roots sprout out of the ground, while Blizzard had his feet dragged backwards scraping the soil which helped him balance his heel on the ground. "Phew that was fun."

Good, that's the spirit!OOC As much a learning experience for you, as it is for me then xD
Taking a moment to read over the scroll, noting exactly what was expected of him, Shinta gave his reply. I'll do my best with this Mathias-sensei and I have no questions at the moment, lets get this party started! xD Finishing on a note of excitement, Shinta made it clear he was eager to get under way.
I want you to take out a small slip of blank paper. You will then proceed to illustrate the kanji symbol for "Seal/Constrict" with an ink brush on the piece of paper. While doing so, I want you to start inserting a small concentrated amounts of your chakra within the seal.( Fūin Fuda ) – Sealing Tag
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Once one of these tags is placed on an object, either by hand or by being attached to a kunai and thrown, a substantial seal slowly forms over the target. This prevents the target from moving or being summoned.
Note: The seal takes a while to form, so any opponent can rip it off negating its effects entirely, if he does so within five seconds.
Note: This technique only works against summons, or bodies resurrected via Edo Tensei.
Sounds easy enough...Good, that's the spirit!
I want you to take out a small slip of blank paper. You will then proceed to illustrate the kanji symbol for "Seal/Constrict" with an ink brush on the piece of paper. While doing so, I want you to start inserting a small concentrated amounts of your chakra within the seal.
KUCHIYOSE NO JUTSU!
Suddenly, a large Liger appears within Shinta's three o'clock, roughly six meters away from him.
Okay, now this is where the action begins. I want you to place the tag on my Liger by any means necessary. The seal could even be attached to a kunai to later be thrown, piercing the Liger's body, allowing the seal to be physically close enough. Once the seal has made physical contact, I want you to focus chakra on said seal, activating upon your command, releasing your previously stored chakra. Within moments, a vast code of kanjis should start spreading around my Liger's body, immobilizing his movements by restraining his body with the stored chakra.
OOC: Paralyzing the enemy to land a paralyzing seal xDSounds easy enough...
Shinta begin by taking out a small, square piece of paper from his Ninja Pouch as well as an ink brush stored within an Ink-cap. With care for the brush strokes, He write the Kanji "封" on the paper whilst charging it with his chakra, concentrating as much as possible within the paper.
Alright, I should fill out that scroll... Before Shinta could finish his thought, a Liger appeared close by. I want you to place the tag on my Liger by any means necessary. That was the key phrase that stuck in Shinta's head.
As the Liger ran at Shinta, he waited for the right moment to strike. While being sized up by the Liger, Shinta ran at full speed towards it, leaping up over his head, performing a hand stand on the back of his neck whilst placing the tag. After Shinta leaps off behind the Liger, he focuses the chakra, activating it's inner mechanism to release the chakra in the form of a vast series of Kanji. The kanji rapidly spread across the Liger's body, restricting his movements by halting it's chakra flow with Shinta's own chakra, stored within the seal.
That was... interesting ^_^ I should fill out that scroll now...
Shinta quickly surveys the area to make sure no more Ligers have been summoned to attack him.
Strong points
Weak points
- A useful seal for immobilising summons
- can be attached to a kunai and thrown at the target
- relatively quick to activate.
Combinations-strategies The best way to make this seal successful, would be to first occupy the target or temporarily paralyse them. Occupying them could be done using clones to attack from multiple directions, while I get in close enough to place the seal or throw the tagged kunai at them, continuing the distractions so I can activate it. Also, if they are hit with a Chidori variant, I could take advantage of the paralysis to place and activate the seal
- Requires close physical contact in order to secure the seal
- If used while attached to a kunai, it is easy to deflect
- As it doesn't immediately immobilise its target, the seal can be taken off.
Ways to counter this technique Countering this seal is as simple as keeping the sealer away from you by keeping the battle mid-ranged, while doing your best to deflect back kunai's using a wind technique such as Wind Release: Gale Palm or by using Earth Release Technique to form a rock pillar to block thrown kunai.
This technique in essence, has the same foundation of creation as your previously learned technique. I want you to take out yet another piece of blank paper. I then want you to illustrate the kanji symbol for "suppress" whilst your insert a concentrated amount of chakra within the seal. After the completion of the seal creation, a slight glow will appear to notify you of its success-fullness.( Chakra Haisui Fūin no Jutsu ) – Chakra Suppression Seal Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user places this seal on the forehead of a Jinchuuriki influenced by the powers of a Bijuu, to forcibly cause the Bijuu's powers to recede. The Jinchuuriki becomes exhausted after this happens.
Note: This can only restrict Jinchuuriki in their Incomplete form, not when they completely transform into the Bijuu
OOC: Yep, I see the irony there xDOOC: Paralyzing the enemy to land a paralyzing seal xD
Very good! Let's move on shall we?
This technique in essence, has the same foundation of creation as your previously learned technique. I want you to take out yet another piece of blank paper. I then want you to illustrate the kanji symbol for "suppress" whilst your insert a concentrated amount of chakra within the seal. After the completion of the seal creation, a slight glow will appear to notify you of its success-fullness.
Now.. because I don't have any way for me to mimick an incomplete form Jinch, I will simply have to explain to you the purpose of this seal; The seal you've just created is used to suppress the Jinch chakra after the target has entered an incomplete form. The seal will forcefully push the chakra back, causing the user to lose his mode.
I want you to test this out by placing the seal on that chakra-made dummy. Although it will not actually suppress the regular chakra, we will be able to see whether or not the seal is activated correctly by the glowing "light".
Very clear, good job. As far as your question goes.. yes it would be effective again'st Psuedo Jinks as long as they are in required forms.OOC: Yep, I see the irony there xD
Sounds like an interesting seal, useful against the growing number of Jinchuuriki appearing aroung the world.
Taking out another piece of square paper, Shinta takes out his brush and writes the Kanji "押" whilst he also inserts his chakra into the ink/paper. Once done, he takes the paper over to the chakra dummy and places it on its forehead before stepping away. After a brief moment, the chakra in the seal begins to react, causing the Kanji to glow in a noticeable way.
I think that worked!
Shinta then takes a moment to fill out the scroll for this technique:
Strong points
Weak points
- A good technique if you start to feel over-powered by a Jinchuuriki
- Like the previous seal, it is quick to activate
- Effects on the Jinchuuriki are almost instant are are quite apparant
Combinations-strategies The best way to apply this, would be through an act of deceit; through using a combination of shadow clones and smoke/flash bombs, to distract the Jinchuuriki enough for me to slap the seal on them.
- You need to get in close to the Jinchuuriki O__O'
- Only effective for chakra shroud and incomplete form, once they transform you need to run... really fast.
- Only useful against Jinchuuriki
Ways to counter this technique If the Jinchuuriki suspects you trying to place this seal on them, they could simply transform into the complete state. Others, like Fuu, might just try to fly out of reach and retaliate with a powerful attack. The main way would just to just keep out of short range, utilising the chakra arms they have use of if they need to get in close.
One questions sensei, is this also effective against Psuedo-jinchuuriki's such as the Gin-Kin Brothers and Sora?
Ah.. one of the most useful and universal techniques in the sealing category!( Han'you Fūin ) - Generic Sealing Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary , Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items or weapons that have been stored using Fūinjutsu, typically they are stored within scrolls. When needed, the owner will activate the seals releasing their item or weapon of choice. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons. The items themselves are unaffected by time. This Technique allows the user to seal any weapons they wish being their own or opponents.
Note: Cannot seal opponent's custom weapons, or the special weapons of a particular character ( example: Samehada or Kubikiribocho ).
Note: Can only seal corpses, and not injured people regardless of the extent of their injury.
Sounds very useful sensei, I'll give it a go and try to seal my katana.Very clear, good job. As far as your question goes.. yes it would be effective again'st Psuedo Jinks as long as they are in required forms.
Ah.. one of the most useful and universal techniques in the sealing category!
I'd like you to take out a scroll and unravel it out in front of you. I then want you to draw a circle that is slightly outlining the edges of said scroll. You will then continue by illustrating the name of the object you'll be sealing in kanji form. After the illustration is complete, I want you to place the weapon of choice on top of the circle as long as its not special like a seven swordsmen sword. (The object you are sealing does not need to be within the perimeter of the circle, however a big item like a giant boulder would require a slightly bigger scroll etc) After you've placed the weapon on top of the circle I want you to focus your chakra into the kanji, activating the seal, allowing yourself to transport said object to another dimension similar to how the summoning technique works.
After you've successfully sealed the weapon inside I want you to close the scroll entirely. Without any pause, I want you to unravel the scroll back up whilst you focus chakra into it, activating the seal, allowing you to call forth the weapon you've just sealed. If you are in need of sealing multiple weapons of the same type, all you have to do is pile them over the same circle. However if you are looking to seal more than one type within the same scroll, you'll be forced to draw individual circles with their respective kanji names.
Haha yes, keeping an extra weapon in case of being disarmed is quite handy indeed. Trust me.. I speak from experience ;] (I would love to tell you what I've done in the past exactly but... you'll understand why not xD) Secret combo!Sounds very useful sensei, I'll give it a go and try to seal my katana.
Shinta begins by taking out a common sized scroll from the inside of his shirt, which he then unravels on the ground before him. Using his brush, Shinta draws a large circle which has a radius of the scrolls width of which he writes within the Kanji for Katana (刀).
Taking his sheathed weapon of his side, Shinta places the weapon over the circle, having the Tsuba laying over the Kanji. Placing his hand on the paper, Shinta channels his chakra into the Kanji and used his knowledge of the reverse summoning and summoning jutsu, to transport the weapon to another dimension. Suddenly, a small puff of smoke if formed and the weapon no longer on top of the scroll.
Shinta then rolls the scroll up and tosses it in his hand to reposition it, unravelling it in a bowling motion out onto the ground as he channels his chakra back into the seal via the paper. Another cloud of smoke appears over the drawn circle, revealing Shinta's katana of which he then replaces on his left hip.
I can see this coming in handy! xD
Strong points
Weak points
- Large/heavy/awkward objects can be concealed on a person, even placed in there pockets (While sealed in the sccoll of course.)
- The sealed item is a surprise to the opponent, potentially allowing you to take them of guard.
- Multiple weapons or items, can be stored on a single scroll... and bodies for DNA if needed .__.
Combinations-strategies
- If I lose the scroll, I lose the object sealed. Similarly if the scroll is destroyed.
- Unless already prepared, the sealing process is not suited for mid-battles (Unsealing is still viable for battle).
- Can't seal living people.
The main and obvious strategy for this, would be to seal items such as Giant Shuriken and Windmill shuriken for easy transport and so they are concealed from your opponents sight. For purposes of Edo tensei, it is excellent for carrying DNA, without the horrible dead-body smell xD
Also great for keeping spare weapons in case of being disarmed.
Ways to counter this technique
Destroy the scroll with any number of fire jutsu, before the user can either seal or unseal their intended target.
A question about this seal Mathias-sensei! Is this the seal you can put on your body to seal weapons in?
A very simple and sneaky technique. I want you to walk around the terrain until you find a suitable place to set off an explosion. Once you've found your ideal place, I want you to illustrate the kanji "explosion" onto a small piece of paper or scroll whilst focusing a large amount of chakra onto the seal, allowing it to stay unstable, ready to detonate on your command. I then want you to hide said seal within the location of your choosing. Once my clone nears both your location and the seal's location I want you to activate the seal by focusing chakra into it, allowing it to release all that concentrated and unstable chakra in the form of an explosion, sending my clone to a puffy grave.( Fūin Wana Bakuhatsu ) – Sealing Trap Explosion
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user places a seal on a chosen location which when an enemy target draws closer to the seal it will release itself in activation to the enemy’s chakra and cause an explosion.
I think I know a good use for it! Shinta then looked around the area, before coming across a thick thicket of trees with a small alley of sorts dividing them. Shinta then takes out a blank piece of paper and scribes the Kanji "爆" on the centre of it, whilst also channeling a large amount of chakra into the paper. So much chakra was sealed inside, that the chakra seemed like it would explode at any given moment, however the chakra of the seal kept it all in place. Shinta then places the piece of paper underneath a tree root that had lifted up slightly, crossing the alley through the tree thicket making it the perfect place to his it. Shinta then hides and waits on the other side for Mathias-sensei's clones to walk through the alley, where Shinta sends more chakra into the seal, breaking it to allow a sudden release of the built up chakra to cause an explosion. After stepping into the alley, Shinta finds no trace of Mathias-sensei's clone.Haha yes, keeping an extra weapon in case of being disarmed is quite handy indeed. Trust me.. I speak from experience ;] (I would love to tell you what I've done in the past exactly but... you'll understand why not xD) Secret combo!
As far as your question is concerned, that is correct. You are able to tattoo said seals onto your body or simply place paper slips onto your wrists like sasuke or anywhere else.

Well in theory, most fuuinjutsu seal-related techniques activate without the need of the user to send chakra. I basically make you "activate" the seals for training-description purposes. However from this point forward, I will make sure to point out which ones you need to activate yourself and which ones you don't.I think I know a good use for it! Strong points
Weak points
- Doesn't make a noise like the traditional explosive tag.
- Can be concealed in the text of a normal scroll, perfect booby-trap.
- Excellent for zoning an opponent, (stopping them from moving to certain areas)
Combinations-strategies Wrapping the paper with the seal on a kunai before throwing it in front of my opponents trajectory, causing to explode as they near it thus stopping them from running in that direction, while I prepare another jutsu to attack them in their sudden retreat.
- Will only activate if the target moves close to it.
- If I lose track of it's location, I could be caught in the detonation.
- Essentially a paper bomb that costs a jutsu spot.
Ways to counter this technique Any doujutsu user would be able to easily recognise the chakra within the seal and thus simply keep away from it. By using the chakra suppression technique, the user wouldn't be able to activate the seal as they have no chakra signal (Not sure on that last one, just a thought of mine).
The technique used by the sound four when they were helping Sasuke achieve the second state of his curse mark. I want you to get my clone within a container of your desire. You will then proceed to slap onto the container five sealing tags that are illustrated with kanjis numerically 1-5 as well as chakra infused. You will aim to place the tags in a pentagon-like formation as you then activate the seals by focusing your chakra into them. (You have to activate these yourself) After the seals have been activated, the chakra will course throughout the container, leaving my clone in suspended animation. (Basically unable to move just like in one of our recent anime episodes where Shikamaru and the others "lost" their souls.( Shikoku Mujin ) - Four Black Fog Battle Formation
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary

Description: When the opponent is trapped inside a container of some sort, the user places five sealing tags, on each side of the container forming a rough pentagon shape. The opponent is then locked in suspended animation for one turn.
Note: If the opponent escapes the container or shatters it before all the tags are placed, he avoids the technique fully.
Okay then, that makes a lot more sense xD I wouldn't want to be near the exploding tag anyway!Well in theory, most fuuinjutsu seal-related techniques activate without the need of the user to send chakra. OOC: Yeah just remember that the explosive tag-related technique is short range so you can't activate it too far away from you.Okay then, that makes a lot more sense xD I wouldn't want to be near the exploding tag anyway!
*With an already made cylindrical container, just large enough to fit Mathias-sensei's clone inside, Shinta grabs the clone and throws him in the container were he then quickly places the lid on top... and then sits on it so the clone can't escape!
Shinta then proceeds to place five tags in a pentagonal places, around the container's edge that joins with the lid. Each tag has the a number on it, ranging from one to five, which Shinta places in order as he infuses them with chakra, activating each one as it is placed. After the final seal has been placed, the clone inside stops squirming, leaving no audible or visible sign that he is even still in there.*
Strong points
Weak points
- Great for keeping an edo sacrifice.
- Useful for transporting people undetected as there chakra signal wouldn't be present.
- The target is left vulnerable to all kinds of attacks whilst suspended inside the container.
Combinations-strategies I'd think having four clones ready on the field would help, immensely with this seal. That way, after catching them (Maybe in a taijutsu encounter with the Intersection Method) while the other clones help to force him into the container and place the seals on him.
- Getting someone to sit and wait patiently while sitting in the container would be difficult.
- Will only remain in the container for the one turn.
- Breaking the container will negate the seal entirely.
In the NW, I could then wait for reinforcements or in any other situation, I could just use three massive jutsu on my next turn... killing the target.
Ways to counter this technique Since this requires close contact with the sealer, Chidori Nagashi would be the undoubtedly first port of call for most people. However, if one could recognise the container being summoned first (through generic sealing technique) they could focus some attention onto that particular object to destroy it.
Now I will be teaching you one of my favorites back in the day. I want you to take out an empty scroll and illustrate the kanji symbol for the desired basic element. In this case, water. Mathias suddenly waves a single hand seal, creating a water clone in front of him. The clone then proceeds to charge towards Shinta at full speed. Quickly! perform the "Rat → Bird → Technique specific seal → Tiger" hand seals, pointing the scroll onto my clone's location, activating it. If successful, a vapor of sorts should be released, enveloping my clone completely, sealing him within the scroll.( Ho/Mizu/Kaze/Tsuchi/Rai Houin ) - Fire/Water/Wind/Earth/Lightning Sealing Method
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user takes out a scroll, and writes the name of the element they wish to seal in it. They then make four handseals, and a vapour comes out of the scroll, envelops the technique they wish to seal and seals it back into the scroll.
Note: This technique can only seal one technique up to S-rank per usage
Note: This technique may be used only thrice.
OOC Will do, I'd hate to stuff up on a range technicality O__O'OOC: Yeah just remember that the explosive tag-related technique is short range so you can't activate it too far away from you.
You sure like Edo-related stuff aye? ;p

Good, however using it against majestic fire might not be a good idea. Although it would start sealing away the fire with its vapor, the overwhelming wall of fire passing through the sides of you would surely harm you due to the close proximity and intensity of the flames. This type of sealing method should be used on more appropriately sized techniques. Although, it is plausible taking into account unknown variables during your X situation in that battle.OOC Will do, I'd hate to stuff up on a range technicality O__O'
Well, I can't think of too many other examples! Hehe. It seems Edo-tensei is the hot topic around the Ninja World.
Seems simple enough ^_^
Already knowing what attack is coming, Shinta pulls out a blank scroll and then begins to write the Kanji character or Water "水". Noticing the clone commence his run towards him, Shinta holds the scroll in his mouth while he performs the five hand seals, were he then charges chakra into the scroll and holds it open towards the water clone. Just as the clone comes into striking distance, an eerie vapour emerges from the kanji, enveloping the clone and drawing him into the seal.
Excellent! xD
Strong points
Weak points
- Versatile counter to the basic five elements.
- Seals any of the basic five up to S-rank.
- Quick to activate.
Combinations-strategies I see this as a great way for stopping a large attack, such as Fire release: Great Fire Majestic Annihilation by absorbing the attack into the seal as I race towards the opponent using the jutsu. From their perspective, they would think the fire is doing it's job when in reality, I am steadily absorbing it and making ground towards them, where I can then through the open scroll over their face (as a distraction) and finish them with some form of taijutsu or Chidori/Raikiri.
- Restricted range.
- Only works on the basic five elements.
- Only works if you can point the scroll at the attack.
Ways to counter this technique The one way I can think of to counter this, or really prevent its use, would be to use dual element jutsu such as Lava and Ice. However, after someone is readying this attack, a clone or partner could use a second element to overpower the seal to destroy it and the user.
I did think about the size issues, but as you said, unknown variable could allow it to happen xDGood, however using it against majestic fire might not be a good idea. Now, you've finished your B ranks! However before we move on... I'd like you to create a three-jutsu battle combination utilizing at least one of the sealing techniques you've learned so far. You are welcome to use free-form taijutsu, kunai throwing, etc etc.
A clone is created long range from you.
STARTO!
The combination was very creative and fun to watch. However, if my clone had fought back, utilizing two short ranged techniques that included physical touch, back to back would have surely put you in a bind as my clone would have felt your hand pressing against his pouch the first time, putting his guard up and defending while you continued onto your second sealing technique.I did think about the size issues, but as you said, unknown variable could allow it to happen xD
Seeing your clone appear long range from Shinta, he begins to run towards him. Whilst running, Shinta takes out a small piece of paper from his pouch and scribbles on the Kanji for pouch, just after he drops a flash bomb behind himself to blind the clone. Upon reaching the blinded clone, Shinta darts around the side of the clone as he then places the paper flat against his ninja tool pouch, activating it to seal his ninja tools away, taking away a valuable part of his arsenal.
With that done, Shinta then places a tag on the place were the ninja pouch once sat, this time with the kanji for explosion inscribed on it. Leaping back a few paces, Shinta then throws a single shuriken, which after a quick series of hand seals, multiplies into many duplicate shuriken. As these shurkien bombard the clone, Shinta activates his explosion trap seal, causing crippling wounds while he deals with the Shuriken.
( Han'you Fūin ) - Generic Sealing Technique
( Fūin Wana Bakuhatsu ) – Sealing Trap Explosion
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user places a seal on a chosen location which when an enemy target draws closer to the seal it will release itself in activation to the enemy’s chakra and cause an explosion.
(Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user creates a thousand shadow clones from one shuriken after performing Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger, striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal.
Upon finishing, Shinta turns towards Mathias-sensei and speaks.
How was that sensei?
I want you to take out a pair of bladed objects, they can be swords, kunais, tantos, anything of the sort. I then want you to thrust them out in front of you, crossing them with one another whilst channeling chakra into them. You will then proceed to "create, form" the kanji sign for "suppress" with pure chakra, in the dead center of both crossing blades. Upon doing so, I want you to release the seal, causing a barrier of chakra to expand outwards around your short range, sealing away half of your opponent's chakra, reducing their ability to use high ranked techniques whilst in the short range barrier.( Fūinjutsu: Seikatsu Kekkai ) – Sealing Technique: Living Barrier
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30 (-15 per turn active)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user takes out two bladed objects and crosses them. This creates a seal that seals away 50% of the chakra of any opponents within short-range of the user, allowing them to use only upto A-rank techniques.
Note: Sealing Method lasts 2 turns maximum.
Note: If the opponent moves out of short range, he regains his original abilities
