Chapter 28- Brighter than the Moon
Fidel: Assist?Querub?n (Cherub/Cherubim)
Fidel?s zanpakuto dispersed into a bright light that surrounded him and he shrunk in size and gained a pair of tiny wings which he flew with. He was carrying a lyre in his hand and floated gracefully in the air.
Roku: O_O
Antono: Ready?
Fidel: Yes, sir!
Antono and Fidel came together and Fidel jumped onto Antono?s shoulder. He strummed his lyre and then Antono pointed his rod at Roku and Emperor.
Antono and Fidel: Repent! Dios, ruego nos perdone!
A huge, electrically charged cero formed at the tip of Antono?s rod, and a bright cero formed in front of Fidel?s lyre.
Antono and Fidel: Gran Cielo Cero! (Grand Heaven Cero)
The two ceros combined into one and the fired at Roku and Emperor. The amount of spiritual pressure and energy was far greater than anything that they had ever felt before. The cero was bright yellow with lightning surging all through it. Roku and Emperor prepared to hold it back and their swords hits the cero in an attempt to block it. The cero, however, was far too powerful and they could barely hold it off. Roku increased his reiatsu greatly and so did Emperor, but it still wasn?t enough to push back the cero. Finally, Roku?s sword glowed brightly and he shouted?
Roku: Blade of 1000 Suns!
His zanpakuto gained incredible power and he finally pushed back the cero bit by bit, but it was still intensely powerful. Roku couldn?t hold it off any longer and the cero hit him and Emperor both. The explosion from the cero destroyed everything within a 2 mile radius and completely obliterated the sand and ground that they were on, leaving a gigantic crater after ripping up the very ground that they stood on. Surges of lightning remained and the entire desert still reeked of the insane spiritual energy and power of the cero. Antono and Fidel looked toward Roku and Emperor, who lay on the ground in pain. They had several severe bruises and cuts and blood ran down their arms and legs.
Antono: Over already?just as I expected. Fidel, finish off that lieutenant there. I?ll kill Roku.
Fidel pulled Emperor up and caused Emperor to wake up from his unconscious state. Fidel punched Emperor and knocked him on the ground.
Fidel: Take your zanpakuto. We?re gonna end this now.
Emperor: >.O I see????We have to end it??quickly?or we?may?die. >_<
Emperor got up and picked up his zanpakuto. He was limp and he wasn?t able to hold his sword correctly. Fidel pointed his lyre at Emperor and it transformed into a white metal battleaxe. Emperor held his sword vertically in front of him and the let go of it, but the blade didn?t fall. Instead, it was floating in the air. Emperor tapped his index finger on the ground and a large wave of vibrations was sent throughout the field and it remained on the field, but it had yet to affect anyone.
Emperor: Ban?kai!
Emperor?s sword vibrated and transformed into a short broadsword with intricate carvings along the blade and a yin-yang symbol on its hilt. The vibration of the ground started to affect Fidel by making him and his zanpakuto vibrate. When Fidel tried to move, his movements were completely flawed. Emperor was now surrounded by many visible sound waves.
Emperor: Teikoku Yuuenkatsu?
Fidel: Did you just say?Bankai?
Emperor: Yes. I?m the only lieutenant that has achieved bankai besides Matsumoto Rangiku-san. And I did so with the help of Captain Roku. Now?I will put an end to this fight?after all?if I don?t?*smirks* I might die.
Emperor?s sword shook and then Fidel?s weapon vibrated at freak speeds and suddenly broke. Fidel tried to control his reiatsu to make a cero, but couldn?t. Emperor charged at Fidel with his sword and cut Fidel head clear off. Blood gushed out of the head of Fidel and Fidel?s body fell to the ground with his head. Emperor sealed his sword and turned away from Fidel.
Emperor: Disconnection Song?U_U *seals zanpakuto*
Antono looked at Emperor and was surprised to see Fidel dead with his head severed completely.
Antono: How sad. I?m sorry Fidel?I?ll avenge you once I finish off this shinigami here.
Antono pointed his rod down at Roku and thrust it at Roku?s heart. Roku opened his eyes quickly and blocked the attack with Kintsuki barely. He pushed Antono?s attack back and did a 360 degree spin on the ground to get back up and deliver a spinning kick to Antono?s face which Antono blocked with his arm. Roku kicked off Antono?s arm and landed back on the ground.
Roku: You know?I was trying to save my reiatsu for the final battle against Bianca?but I guess I have no choice. Besides, I could just use one of my inventions to fix myself up I suppose.
Antono: What?re you talking about?
Roku held his zanpakuto out in front of himself horizontally. The sword began to flare up and the area surrounding Roku set to flames. Then, an odd pattern of lines came out from the tip of the sword and spread around Roku all around in the form of a cube until it created a solid blue and yellow cube of reiatsu that surrounded Roku and closed him in.
Roku: Bankai!
With that word the entire cube shattered into a million pieces and the pieces receded back into the blade of Kintsuki. Then, Kintsuki disappeared by turning into ash and Roku?s reiatsu exploded. The spiritual pressure was immense and cold. The entire area for miles away could even see the explosion of reiatsu that was caused by Roku releasing his bankai. Emperor fell to the ground, overwhelmed by the pressure and power of Roku?s bankai.
Elsewhere?
Carlie: OMG! Things are really getting serious.
Izuru: That?s Captain Kiyoshi?s reiatsu. I can?t believe we can feel it from this far away.
Sue: can you also sense Captain Ragnaroc?s as well? It?s growing.
Carlie: They must have used bankai by now. Their enemies are powerful O_O
In Bianca?s Throne Room
Bianca: Grimmjow?are you surprised?
Grimmjow: ??hmph?it?s been a while since I?ve seen him, but never this strong.
Bianca: That?s good. So many old friends and acquaintances are here. It makes me excited, and it makes me anxious??how long will you take to win, Rag?
Antono was shocked to what he saw.

The ground became icy and froze to become nothing more than an icy battlefield. The air was cold and ice particles could be seen floating in the air. There were many ice shards surrounding Roku. Roku was wearing a blue, light blue, and dark blue line patterned robe somewhat like a kimono and his feet stood completely still on the cold ice which covered the entire battlefield for incredibly long distances. There was a bright aura around him, brightly shining. In his right hand was his zanpakuto, Kintsuki, a now cerulean colored sword with a cerulean hilt, blade, and guard which was in the shape of a sun.
Roku looked at Antono and smirked. Emperor could barely stand and his body was beginning to freeze.
Roku: Bankai???HisanHoshi no Kintsuki (Flying Star of the Golden Moon)?Getsuei (Moon).
Antono: Impressive Bankai?oddly though, it?s not gold.
Roku: My Zanpakuto is a celestial type of sword. It?s unique in that it commands aspects of two major celestial bodies?The Sun and the Moon. While the Sun is the more powerful form, it?s distant at the moment *looks at the moon*?The Sun and The Moon?Fire and Water?Hot and Cold. That is why Kintsuki is the most powerful fire-based zanpakuto along with Ryuujin, and it?s a powerful Ice and Water sword as well.
Antono: Impressive. So it?s dual?but it lacks dual blades?
Roku: Perhaps. It doesn?t matter, because you won?t live long enough to find out. *points sword at Antono* I draw my power from the Moon?you cannot defeat me as long as its here U_U
Antono: We?ll see. Now behold, my ultimate attack! Fiesta del Cielo! (Feast of the Sky)
The sky rumbled and a huge storm brewed! The lightning and thunder from the storm shocked the ground and exploded with a boom. Antono was focusing all of his reiatsu into this attack. In the center of the storm, it glowed blue as if all of the mass of lightning in the storm were being concentrated into that part.
Antono: DIE!
The part of the storm that was glowing suddenly ripped open as a massive blasting bolt of lightning followed by thousands of surges shot out of the clouds. The lightning that it gave off surged throughout the battlefield and rippled the sand, parting it in several places and making it rise off the very ground. Tiny creatures were shocked by the tiny lightning bolts that the huge bolt was giving off as it raged toward Roku. The bolt send out massive shockwaves that rippled through the sky and sent out from every direction and could be felt from very far distances. The lightning bolt was immediately in front of Roku and ready to blast right through him, but just as suddenly, Roku swung his sword down vertically at the lightning bolt and it suddenly split in half, abruptly destroying the attack. Antono?s face looked shocked.
Roku: U_U
Antono: Impossible! No shinigami has ever been able to defeat that attack before! Impossible!!!
Roku: *sigh* Zettai Rei (Absolute Zero)
Roku charged at Antono with great speed and stabbed his sword into the Espada. Antono looked down to see the sword pierced right through him and Roku pulled the sword out, but as he did, Antono froze completely with a thin case of ice surrounding his body, and he fell to the ground. Once he hit the ground, he shattered into pieces. Roku sealed his zanpakuto.
Roku: Zettai Rei?contact made to any of the 12 vital areas of extreme temperature sensitivity?anyone with powerful zanpakuto that has ice or water nature can do so?:| It?s over, Espada.
Antono?s blood itself was frozen, but it melted as Roku sealed his zanpakuto and seeped out, creating a pool of blood around the dead Espada. Roku looked toward the Las Noches dome and ran towards it with Emperor following.
