But I am not whining=D
Well, Hinata Basically Declared to the world Naruto is Mine don't get in My Way in this Chapter.
You know I hate to say but I agree with you.
She proved that she is absolutely, without a doubt, NOT capable of any character development that isn't centered squarely on another character and not herself.
It'd actually kind of depressing.
I want to see Hinata become a strong character FOR HERSELF. Not for anyone else. It really robs her of any independence and is pretty sexist and not fair.
Given Japanese culture, Sakura is commited to Naruto since she confessed to him in public, hugged him in public so yeah...
Neither did she denied it.
Unless your name is Naruto nobody cares.![]()
Oh please....
Oh please....
Stop the thread already. Nobody can prove anything. XD
More like SO6P with hes sagey powers and rinnegan.
I am just saying HN is very unlikely to happen, and if Neji comes back to life, its all over for NH.
Or you can just see her whole character development centering around love. . .
Or you can just see her whole character development centering around love. . .
That isn't love. That's being a fangirl/obsessed with a person.
I really want to like and respect Hinata as a character. I can't because she is not capable of accomplishing ANYTHING on her own because she has to think of "Naruto's big hand". That's not love. That's pathetic. Any growth she has shown in the entirety of the series is on the back of another character and not herself.
I don't get how there is all this hatred for Sakura yet Hinata is standing here as the utter embodiment of a weak, cliche female and people dig it. I cringe anytime I read anything she says because her mindset is so narrow and shallow.
Can you imagine if Sakura acted about Sasuke the way Hinata acted about Naruto? You guys would never stop bashing her.
You being very hypocritical. :/
LOL, they're both the same. Sakura sees Naruto and Sasuke as her goal and inspiration and Hinata sees Naruto as her goal and inspiration. They're both dependant on seeing someone else as their inspiration on becoming stronger.
Oh....so Sakura's love for Naruto is motivating her to get stronger? Or no wait. It's actually her desire to protect her comrades, be a better shinobi and fight with her own strength and not be a burden which she is accomplishing with flying colors. You didn't pay attention at all in Pt. 1 if you think Sakura's motivation is all about pairing fodder.
The difference is Sakura is her own person while Hinata could, apparently, not function if Naruto didn't exist.

Who said this had anything to do with love? Both Sakura and Hinata gained their motivation from seeing someone else's back and trying to catch up to them. It was another character that ultimately inspired them to get stronger. If I remember correctly, Sakura wa nted to become the best Kunoichi and Hinata wanted to prove to her father that she wasn't weak.
What does this have to do with the pairing fodder?
No but it dose look like some kind of confrontation may come out of this, by the way were is Orochimaru? If He shows up with Edo Kushina so She can help use Her chains on the Juubi You might get Kushina saying How Hinata is like Minato,What a Headache is Kishi dreaming off?
That would actually be cool XD
So you're saying Hinata's feelings for Naruto are not her motivation to get stronger? I can agree with that. In fact, that was the only way I could read what shew said in this chapter and not cringe. The "by your side" thing could be a metaphor for her growing as a shinobi alongside him with his Nindo etc.
Kishi really wrote himself into a corner with her. :|
