I really would hope that the author of a world-renowned manga wouldn't have women in his manga with the sole intent of them drooling over his protagonist. Not only is that pretty despicable but it's some of the worst writing I can really imagine.

Worse writing than what you would find in "Come Come Paradise III" perhaps?

I initially didn't understand how/ why you were saying Hinata's unrequited affection could be seen as "misogynistic." I suppose if she did nothing but ogle Naruto's awesomeness for the duration of the Manga then you would be correct. However, she has made several attempts to be a more assertive/ "stronger" character through her actions in the pain arc/ shinobi world war. This represents a change from the submissive japanese girl that originally attracted NH fans, into a young woman who can voice her opinion amongst male peers and 'the dude I [she] most admires.' Hinata is a dynamic character who changes over time and at times advances plot.

Having a female character become stronger over time is better than a 'woman [existing] with the sole intent of drooling over his protagonist.' No?

Because what makes me curious is if NaruSaku fans are so sure NS is going to be canon, why the constant spam against the other pairings hmmm? As for denying that Sakura still has feelings for Sasuke is as ridiculous as NH fans denying Sakura shares a bond with Naruto (but has yet to be proven as romantic itself) It bugs me that NS fans always berate NH fans for trying to force Hinatas feelings on Naruto. Clearly NS does the same towards Sakura. I may not like Sakura but its just as "unfair" for NS to force Narutos feelings on her when she's clearly still shown feelings for Sasuke. None of you take HER feelings into consideration but immediately jump at the chance to say "Naruto still loves Sakura and he always will" NaruSaku for the win. Yet Sakura has not returned such feelings towards Naruto JUST LIKE Naruto has yet to return Hinatas feelings because let's set the record straight, he held her hand in gratitude for staying by his side and thanked her genuinely (contrast to what NS has claimed that he was only giving her chakra) Clearly it's shown as denial because why would they argue that he THANKED HER. There wasn't someone sort of confession in it. And it's also denied that it was a pretty big development for the both of them. NaruHina shouldn't also be assuming they've won yet because despite what either pairing side debates both sides have a 50/50 chance because its Kishimotos decision.

So if you want to stubbornly call me a NaruHina fan go ahead. It doesn't bother me because like I said my butthurt radar is spiking since I don't defend the "oh so sure fire winner NaruSaku". LOL thanks for the good laugh though. I needed that ;D

If we see Hinata do a 180 personality flip... and be more like RTS Hinata, due to being brushed off by Naruto.... I could see her and Sasuke together as a means to unify the kekkai genkai and make a more powerful offspring to begin a new, much stronger clan.

The manga is hardly at it's climax. I feel that will be when Naruto and Sasuke ultimately have their resolute conflict for Hokage.

Besides, given that the focus is on Team 7's reunion and their relationships with one another and the other K11... well, I mean what else are we going to focus on, until more chapters come out that focus purely on fighting?

These chapters so far are character development. Romantic relationships are either development or regression depending on who it's with.

The reason why NS has to post the contrary view is because NH was claiming that Naruto moved on with his feelings so it is a big deal that he hasn't especially after all Hinata did and Minato's question. Why did minato ask sakura the question? You certainly can't assume its because "she's the key".
