Let us begin by reading the critique below. I would like to establish the premise that Naruto and Sakura will be paired by the end of the Manga in order to continue the post. As much as I like to troll, this isn't a troll thread so don't encourage others.
If we look at the irrefutable evidence suggesting that Naruto will indeed end up with Sakura by the end of the manga, we can conclude that Sakura's NEXT confession will be at the end of the War when Naruto has brought Sasuke back to the village or "saved" him.
Naruto himself has stated HOW can he become hokage if he cannot even save one friend. And such, he feels he cannot confess to Sakura if he cannot keep his promise. He is expressing his belief that he has no right to be whatever he wants to be without EARNING it.
Sakura is well aware of Naruto's feelings though not being said directly to her by himself. To suggest the feelings aren't mutual is debatable, because Sakura is said to not have concluded about her feelings towards Naruto in her datebook. In addition, we have seen Sakura from time to time admiring Naruto whilst blushing.
There has already been an established similarity between Kushina and Sakura such that Minato can pick it up by looking at his sons interactions with Sakura. If we look at Kushina and Minato, we greatly assume they are a PERFECT couple with no flaws, but Kushina herself states in a panel that they argue from time to time. In addition, Shikamaru's father says to that even the roughest women is tender to the guy she loves. In conclusion, there is more than just a rough side to Sakura if you haven't picked up on it so stop with the Sakura is only mean to Naruto rant.
So one can conclude it's only a matter of time right?
The question I'm trying to ask is do you think Kishi has prolonged it too much and do you believe Sakura deserves to be with Naruto, the hero, the future savior of the world, etc. etc.
I for one believe the perfect opportunity would have been this current chapter during his attempt to redeem Sakura.
Though whenever she reflects back to Sasuke, I cant help to realize how much she hasn't changed and have as of lately begun to dislike Sakura a bit. Naruto-solo is where I'm at atm.
What are your current thoughts of the pairing and it's direction?

Below is the scene Sai asks him why he doesn't tell her how he feels and Naruto comments in the next panal that he cannot do so If he cannot keep his promise to her. Promise being to bring back Sasuke.
