Why is the NaruHina/NaruSaku thing so important to some people? Whether or not Naruto has a girlfriend is completely irrelevant to the story.

Something to talk about other than who is stronger than who and how much Sakura sucks.

Cause Hinata and Sakura are too weak to participate in Vs threads.

It actually is quite relevant. When Hinata confessed her love for Naruto and sacrificed herself for him, that's when it became completely relevant. Whether you like it or not.

The pairings have gotten pretty relevant lately, considering how they were pretty much ignored for a long time. Most pairings get their conclusions near the end of the manga, and the manga is reaching it's end. so yeah.

Apparently many disagree. As was obvious yesterday.

For the dumbest reasons too. As there is no logical point in loving a fictional character pairing, there is no logical point in hating a fictional character either.

(Offtopic: I feel bad for living in Florida now; I swear, I know how to drive xD)

why people care so much who's stronger?why we make VS threads?why we make theories?etc.
you get the point that if romance exists in story there's always someone who's intrested in it.and you can't deny them their right to discuss it,since right now romance is more releveant than the fights.

It's a nice thing that allows us to invest more of our time into Naruto, and it will lead us to having a better understanding of certain characters as we watch and participate in debates over who should end up with who.

It's also a fun thing to do, and some people really like romance.

Personally, I find it funny how Kishi states 'he doesn't care about pairings' but when looking at the statistics, those 'pairing fans' pretty much make up half (or MORE) of the fans he has. I also find it ironic that most people read the manga for the pairings themselves instead of anything else.

I figure people care more about the pairings now because they feel the story has gone so downhill, that the only thing they have anything good to wait for now is who will be Naruto's bride. Imo, I feel they think it would an interesting thought to who he could end up with considering the high tension between Sakura and Hinata, as it gives the fans the excitement that they lost during this arc.

love as a topic is necessary in the story to justify peoples actions an Kishi know it so well it's not only about NAruhina or narusakura , look what obito did for ren
what yahiko did for KOnan
what minato did for kuchina
what madara did for his brother ...
if there is no love there is no plot

Because they don't have their own life to care about? Dunno.
