Front Lotus is all he needs: speed blitz and then the impact would cause to much damage for her to heal with just the Mystical Palm Technique.

How can Lee blitz her? Sakura is an evasion specialist, and her reaction time is pretty good. Lee isn't fast enough to blitz her.

Lee's speed is way out of Sakura's league. Lee is one of the few people who is capable of blitzing, at least in gates mode.

A base Lee would eventually lose to a current Sakura (With whatever her new power up is). But I feel like it's safe to assume that with his superior taijutsu and a gate or so opened, Lee's speed will be too great for Sakura to land any solid hits on him.

Lee at this stage in the battle will be receiving hits and any damage only from Sakura blowing apart the landscape. If need be, Lee wil release up to the fifth gate. His limit I believe, and will perform the reverse lotus on Sakura after sending her quick blows.

The attacks Lee sends to Sakura won't do much but stun and shock her, the real way to beat he will be to knock her unconscious with the reverse lotus technique. Which should work after a kick to the stomach, a strong punch or elbow to the back or head to further stun the medic ninja.

This will all lead to the final attack, the reverse lotus that will wrap around and eventually send Sakura hurrtling towards the Earth. She'll then be knocked out and out of this fight. Lee would win mid diff do to his opponents "regeneration" powers.

Or Lee can just drink some alcohol and enter his "Drunken Fist" state. That'd. . Make for an interesting fight.

Lee blitzed Gaara's defense which is something fast enough to be considered as "ultimate defense" in the sand village for years, that thing blocked flying Kunais and needles and Lee is faster than them.

And if Lee opens the gates, he becomes almost untouchable with that speed; Sakura is not perfect in evading either; Omoi from Kumo kicked her right through the chest when she attempted to land a hit. Saying Lee is not fast enough for Sakura is plain baseless.

I think you underestimate the damage Lee can do in the gates with his techniques.

Every single gates technique is classified as a 1-hit kill technique, meaning that if the opponent doesn't have some way to defend themselves or at least heavily cushion or absorb the blows(which practically no one but only a few ninja have) then its an automatic instant kill.

I believe you are seriously underestimating Lees own strength. Back in the second part of the chuunin exams, Lee was able to punch his hand several feet into the ground and uproot a tree root almost several times his size.

Seeing as how:
a) edo bodies are nowhere near as durable as regular bodies
b) Tsunade's heritage and chakra based strength combined is higher than that of sakura's chakra based
