Can Kisame quite possibly defeat Itachi?

I've always suggested this but I've been deemed idiotic but some for such a statement. He is quite powerful. Itachi is an overall better shinobi [in terms of feats and stats] than Kisame but Kisame is also formidable and can hold his ground against the Top 10 Shinobi.

Kabuto,Obito,Orochimaru,Hashirama,Madara,Sasori,Minato,Itachi,Naruto,Sasuke,Tobirama,Trollkage,Muu,Third Raikage,Bee,Ay,Jiraiya,Kakashi,Hiruzen.

all of those can rape him.

That hardly showcases his power. I judge Orochimaru and Kabuto on their power alone, not the summoned Edo Tensei. It's clearly not their own fighting prowess that would allow them to win that fight.

It might seem odd. . But I was saying that his Susano'o combined with the ability to quickly determine and formulate plans would likely take down Kisame once the battle reaches the climax, when either Water Dome is out, Great Shark Missile is used, or another high end jutsu.

I agree with almost everything in your previous post, but I firmly believe if Itachi is caught in the WD, he is finished. I mean, what plausible counters does itachi even have for it? He either dies due to chakra drainage or lack of oxygen.

Completely agree. I'm not saying Kisame>Itachi, but simply he stands a chance of defeating him. Itachi is the better shinobi, no doubt.

I understand that, but if we analyze both their arsenal and feats shown in the manga thus far, you can't possibly believe Itachi is leagues above Kisame... Did I not counter his most formidable techniques in the OP?

You've taken what I've said to the extreme and you know it. There's a difference between a summoning, being jinchurikki, and literally summoning dead and powerful shinobi almost impossible to beat with regeneration. Both chakra wise and with their "bodies".

It doesn't show the power of the user behind Edo Tensei. It's THAT simple. And I think I'll take Forbidden's advice here and just disregard any further posts from you.
