It's because people cant understand the Uchihas and just ridicule them as 'emo'. They are all realistic portrayals of what humans can turn into when a loved one is lost.

why not? Sasuke has defeated everyone Itachi's beat, and more- Orochimaru, Naruto and Deidara. If he'd been facing part 1 kakashi when he shot that arrow at him he would be dead too. and he also killed Danzou. he has more feats at a younger age.

I'm not a big fan of Sasuke's character, but his actions and attitude are very understandable. he's not as strong as naruto in my eyes but he's easily stronger than most shinobi, and pushing top 5 once he shows what he's got probably

That being said, I am one of his biggest haters on this site and I will say his "emotional" state is incredibly well written. Yeah, that's right. I said it! That aspect of his character is handled brilliantly by kishimoto.

I totally disagree here. In the first part of Naruto's series, Sasuke WAS very smart at fighting, and so he was in the second part until he awakened his own Mangekyo Sharingan. From here and further, he went through Enton Spamming and Susano'os tanker... that's brute, Sasuke even ended almost blind until Itachi's eyes were put in him. I'm pretty sorry to tell this, but with the MS he started to act like an idiot in battles, more idiot than Naruto in the first part of the series. Even Naruto have evolved in terms of fighting style, Kakashi support this (First when he is defeated by the tag team NaruSaku with the bells test v2, later in the fight against Kakuzu and finally in the fight against Pain).

I'm pretty dissapointed about how Sasuke's fighting style have changed until now. I really hope Kishimoto do something about this, I really liked the Sasuke was entered in the Shippuden series... but not anymore.
