it wasnt cero, it was a attack from ukitakes zanpaktou. Stark just thought it was a cero, "Sogyo no kotowari" is the techs name.

I still don't get her bankai. Most bankai are just more stronger and more impressive versions of the shikai, but she changed from silent and deadly assassin-shikait to a freaking all-destroying missile >.<'

And what does she do when she shoots it? She just shot her bankai away, what does she do when it would miss or when she would go in close combat?

Maybe it was a lightning attack, it has never been proven, but there are theories that his zanpaktou is based on lightning.
