Err hi o__o

(Hebi Risu no Jutsu) – Snake Explosion Technique
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user turns their hands into a number of huge snakes that hit the opponent upwards. Next, one snake grabs the opponent in its jaws and drags the opponent into the piles of snakes. The user then sends a pulse of chakra into the pile, detonating the snakes.
Note: May only be used once per battle.

Performed it as well:

-I channel chakra into my hand, and summon several snakes turning my hand into a giant mass of snakes. I then cause the snakes to hit your clone upwards, and one snake to grab your clone with it's mouth and drag him back down into the pile of snakes. I then send a wave of chakra into the pile causing it to detonate with your clone inside of it.-

Here's the thread:

Oh and sorry about the spam.

Hmm, well it would be useful if someone targets your hands. You could turn your hand into a swarm of snakes. The snakes could tank the hit for you. You could also it to reach up to mid range, extending your reach. By hitting the opponent up, he may lose his balance. And the explosion would be difficult to walk away from unscathed.

Like that?

Something like that.
Take a look at it though; it transforms your hands. That means you're unable to form handseals while this jutsu is active and it doesn't just 'deactivate' instantaneously.
And it's only usable once... which I don't understand the reasoning behind.

(Jagei Jubaku) – Snake Authority Spell
Rank: A
Type: Offensive/ Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user extends Large snakes from their sleeves, which then coil around the target/s and then binds them. With the further addition of the users murderous intent they then can weaken their targets resolve and temporarily paralyze them in place.
Note: Must be able to summon snakes

Well to be honest, this jutsu sort of confuses me. Do you use this jutsu, THEN use killing intent? Or is the actual killing intent part of the jutsu? If so, does it follow the same rules as the Killing Intent listed on the jutsu list?

From what I understand, you extend snakes from your sleeve. The snakes alone scare the opponent, but you add killing intent to paralyze them. Benefits would of course be paralyzing the opponent. Downside is that (I'm assuming) this wouldn't work on people higher ranked than you. Also when the snakes are coiled around the opponent, you can make the snakes squeeze/bite the opponent.

Another quick question: What species of snake is usually summoned? Are they venemous, can they distinguish different people by "tasting" the air? Can they track you based on your heat signature? Can they squeeze you to death? Or does it really depend on the jutsu?

This isn't a loophole that allows you to use Killing Intent multiple times; it's a suggestion for how to maximise the effectiveness of this technique.

And the snakes you summon, unless otherwise is stated, are very, very normal. We're talking no special tracking-abilities, no venomous fangs, no nothing. Just the capacity to perform the action(s) stated in the technique in question.

(Mandara no jin) – Myriad Snake Net
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user will release a torrent of serpents out their mouth. This wave will rise and rush towards the target and covering them.

Well this jutsu is pretty useful. You release a giant torrent of snakes from your mouth. The snakes then attack the opponent. The technique summons a lot of snakes, to the point where they were able to hold off Naruto in his four tailed state. Cool thing about the jutsu is that the snakes, don't poof away until they get hurt. And since there are so many, it would be difficult to get every single one. The snakes rush towards the opponent and cover them. I don't know about you, but if hundreds of snakes covered me I'd flip out. I assume the opponent would do the same. This is also good for a distraction; while the opponent deals with the snakes, you attack. Seems to be a very versatile jutsu overall.
