Chapter 23- The Beast of Ash
Toshiro: 10th Division Captain, Hitsugaya, Toshiro.
Petre: Hitsugaya? You?re the genius of Soul Society, aren?t you? It?s been such a long time since I?ve had a good fight. Now don?t disappoint me, Hitsugaya Toshiro.
Toshiro: It seems you?re well informed.
Petre: I do my best. O_O Oh, your friend there doesn?t have anyone to fight. That?ll be boring for her.
Toshiro: This isn?t her fight. Matsumoto, back me up!
Matsumoto: Yes, sir!
Petre: Oh no. I can?t have her interfering in our fight. After all its not everyday that one gets to fight the Master of Ice, Toshiro Hitsugaya. But I?ll keep her occupied. Elise, Louis, Alexandru!
Three Sangre ran down the polished marble stairs in their normal arrancar outfits. One was a small girl (Elise) with red hair and very long outfit that covered her arms and extended for another foot of clothing. Another (Louis) was a tall man with silver hair and what seemed to be a huge white trench coat over his outfit. The last one (Alexandru) had messy black hair and his outfit seemed like a casual T-shirt and pants. He was medium sized but much taller than Elise. Their swords were all on their backs, just like Petre?s. Matsumoto looked at them and smirked.
Matsumoto: These guys won?t take too long to finish.
Petre: Now that that?s out of the way, let?s begin.
Petre attacked Toshiro with his foot coming around to Toshiro?s side very quickly. Toshiro unsheathed his zanpakuto and blocked Petre?s kick, which was too powerful for Toshiro to hold off with one hand. Toshiro flew back but pushed himself back up with his hand and a back flip to recover. He tossed the chain that was attached to his sword at Petre and it bounced off of Petre?s shoulder.
Toshiro: You?re tough. Much stronger than the former 3rd Espada I fought about 110 years ago.
Petre: The Sangres? power is so great that I am much greater than the former 1st Espada.
Toshiro: Interesting. That?s good because I?m a lot better than my former self. *holds zanpakuto*
Petre: What a pity that you have to die today, 10th Division Captain. But don?t worry; I?ll make sure to give you a warrior?s funeral. *charges cero*
The cero that formed Petre?s hand was dark brown and was surrounded in a whirl of flames and smaller particles of what looked like tiny missiles. When Petre fired it, Toshiro released his spiritual pressure and put it into his sword, striking the cero head on and hitting it back into one of the stairways, causing the entire right half of the room to split from the left half and make a huge blast that spread across the Las Noches desert. Petre?s fraccion looked surprised and then they too got serious.
Alexandru: Looks like Petre-sama is really serious about this battle.
Matsumoto: Really? Captain Hitsugaya is just warming up.
Elise: Please. Once Petre-sama draws his sword, it?s over for your friend.
Matsumoto: Growl, Haineko!
Matsumoto?s zanpakuto?s blade turned to ash and spread around the three fraccion. As it surrounded them, they taunted her but were suddenly cut in the arms and blood spewed out of all of them except Alexandru who skillfully blocked her ash. Louis charged out of the smoke but was suddenly surrounded by all of it at once and sliced up severely. Matsumoto returned the smoke back into her blade and laughed as she saw Louis bleeding from every part of his body.
Matsumoto: How stupid of you to just rush out like that. You see, anyone caught in Haineko?s smoke can be sliced up from any angle without knowing it. But, you?you managed to block it. I?m impressed.
Alexandru: :|???
Alexandru used sonido to go behind Rangiku and attack her with his zanpakuto, which was a small broadsword. Rangiku turned around quickly and blocked the attack but was pushed back by the force of Alexandru?s attack.
Alexandru: Is that all you can do, Lieutenant?
Louis: We should end this quickly if we don?t want to get in their way and die. *unsheathes zanpakuto* Soar?
Elise: Aim?
Alexandru: And Destroy?Torre?n.
The three fraccion began to glow white and their bodies morphed together, causing a small explosion to form. They became one being with two arms that had a cylindrical metal piece of armor on each, and the body was covered in green metal armor.
Matsumoto: What is that?
???: ?What is that?, eh? I am Petre-sama?s Number One Fraccion, Ion Antonescu.
Matsumoto: O_O
Petre: Well, they want to finish things up quickly. So until then, let?s not do anything rash. When they?re done, we can go all out.
Toshiro: Sorry, Espada, but our orders were too important to have any delays! Set up into the Frozen Heavens! Hyourinmaru!
The sky, which could be seen through the hole in the wall that Petre made, turned dark and cloudy. It looked stormy like it was about to rain. From Hitsugaya?s sword came a large dragon of ice and water. He swung his sword at Petre and the dragon charged at the 3rd Espada and opened its icy mouth wide, ready to chomp Petre, but the Sangre held his hand out to stop the dragon. When he held his hand out to stop the dragon, Petre was frozen solid.
Toshiro: Over already?sad. U_U
The ice suddenly made a small crack and then shattered into a million pieces. Petre was unharmed and taunted Toshiro.
Petre: You thought that would defeat me? Think again Captain?*charges at Toshiro*
Toshiro blocked Petre?s strike with his zanpakuto and flicked him aside and then charged forward and cut Petre?s arm.
Petre: Not bad, Captain. I must say *unsheathes zanpakuto* it?s been a long time since somebody made me draw my sword. Now, come!
Toshiro: *swings sword and freezes Petre* I must handle something first. U_U
Ion pointed his first hand at Matsumoto and a blast of reiatsu came out of it like a cannon. Matsumoto blocked it with her zanpakuto and suddenly Ion was frozen.
Matsumoto: Captain?
Toshiro: Matsumoto, finish it quickly at all costs. We have no time to waste here and?this Espada and I are about to have a dangerous battle.
Matsumoto: <_<??????so when did you notice?
Toshiro: Since the moment it occurred. Now, quickly.
Petre broke out of the ice and charged at Toshiro with zanpakuto, a long broadsword (Dao). He struck Toshiro?s sword and pushed him back, but Toshiro recoiled and shot another ice dragon at Petre. Petre blocked the dragon by hitting it with his zanpakuto and redirecting it into the wall, freezing the entire west wall of the room.
Petre: It?s the wrong season for ice, don?t you think?
Ion: Now, lady, let?s finish this up! *shoots 5 more blasts*
Matsumoto: *gets hit by the blasts and gets up* Since the Captain told me to, I?ll finish this as quickly as possible?*spins sword out to the side*
Ion: What?re you doing?
Matsumoto: Bankai?
The room rumbled. Ion looked in awe at the thing that he saw. It was so great that his jaw dropped.
Ion: 0_0 What is that?
