I start to think the Sage wasn't that strong

Yes he was the strongest character, don't misread my title, but i don't think he was that far above the strongest characters we see currently. Before we thought he was too strong because he defeated a mysterious "god" called the Juubi, but so far since the Juubi got revived, he was disappointing to me. Incapable to kill even fodders with his strongest attacks. His attacks get redirected easily by ninjas like Minato. More than that, he gets blocked or sealed easily by the 4previous Hokages. Not saying that the sealing will succeed(it won't since Juubi still has one transformation left according to Hachibi), but you can't deny the fact that for a supposed "god", he is disappointing so far

What did the Juubi actually do since his revival that was impressive? So the feat of defeating/sealing the Juubi doesn't seem to be that impressive anymore. Not saying it's unimpressive, but not like before. Now it seems that ninjas like Madara, Hashirama are closer to the Sage than we originally thought(well at least when we compare to the Sage before he actually became Juubi's Jinchuriki)

the alliance cant do it, 4 edo hokages, naruto, sasuke and sakura will be troubled once the juubi reaches final form

Well I mean yea ofcorse more modern ninja would seem like they are having an easier time with the juubi than the Sage did. For one, that's an entire ninja army, and the Sage was still only one man.

Secondly, that was 100s of years ago supposedly. Jutsu back then was primitive compared to everything that has been invented now. That red seal thing the 4 hokages used probably didn't exist back then. What the alliance lacks in strength they surely make up for in both numbers and more advanced jutsu techniques that weren't around duing the Sage's time

And thirdly, you said it yourself, the juubi isn't even fininshed transforming. You aren't supposed to be impressed with him yet. The Sage fought the final transformed Juubi, so in comparison to that the juubi we've seen so far is supposed to be lackluster. Just be patient

I know he is fighting alliance, but alliance is composed of fodders most likely. The main/strongest characters hold their own perfectly against the Juubi, who so far killed no one. That is really unimpressive for me. True there is another transformation, but he is already close to perfection and it's all what he can do? Really? U_U

Beside, Naruto, Kakashi, Gai and Bee, almost everyone in the alliance is fodder, but Naruto alone was capable to withstand his attacks and even protect the fodder alliance

Remember Bogard, the Jubi they're fighting isn't in its final form.

Not to mention, the Jubi they're fighting now doesn't even have the two strongest of the nine beasts in it. Making the jubi much weaker then it used to be.

The Juubi doesn't have the 9 tails or 8 tails, so it is considerably weaker. It is also not in its final transformation !!
