Speed isn't everything- speed is literally one factor, even if the Sage isn't as fast as Minato (I don't know why he wouldn't be- he invented every jutsu including teleportation ones) he has jutsu so hugely powerful and large-scale that it wouldn't matter how fast Minato is- he'd be hit by it anywhere he went.

I don't believe that he invented every jutsu!... What about all the different variation of Jutsu's shinobi have created through out the centuries.

Most famous ones would be: Rasengan & Chidori.

Not the point, it doesn't matter if he did or didn't invent flying raijin, he'd have at least 10 original raw jutsu almost identical to it and he could still sweep an entire battlefield with ridiculously powerful jutsu making speed irrelevant.

My statement wasn't directed at Minato Vs Sage. I was merely stating my opinion on the (Sage Created all Jutsu) matter.

When it comes to overwhelming power, Speed is nothing but a nuisance. All Minato could do would be to dodge and flee from attacks with his speed. IF he is faster. Knowing Kishi, the Sage of Six Paths will probably have some incredible speed himself.
