it will sure be measure trouble itachi's only option against it totsuka blade
and only he realises first

but things can turn out differently if deva desides to go CT right away
then it's over for both itachi and kissame

This is a very hard choice. For one, Itachi would be the type to analyze his foe and take extra precaution after noticing that his eyes aren't normal. He must know of the Rinnegan and the "mythological" wielder, Rikudo Sennin. So he'd be very careful.

Now here's where the controversy may come in! People may even say I'm an Itachi Fan-Boy for saying this! (I am an Itachi fan but not a crazy Fan-Boy by the way) If Itachi catches one of them in a Genjutsu, which I'm sure will happen during the battle, it will affect all the Pain bodies because they share the same sight. Once they are all caught in a high level Genjutsu, not saying it'd be Tsukiyomi, Kisame has the freedom to strike down most if not all of the bodies before they return to their senses. If such a technique like Tsukiyomi is required then he can take them all out without worry.

That will eventually force Nagato out where he could just be Amaterasu'd. Itachi probably suffer high damage. But if he doesn't want to do all that Kisame could just go shark mode and drown Nagato.

well said, i disagree with some points however.

we are not sure yet if shringan genjutsu works on rinnengan and if it does it will effect only one pein. The genjutsu effects the brain so it would only effect one. we also know this cause Nagato hears through the paths as well so Jmans genjutsu would have also put Nagato himself in genjutsu but i didnt lol

Also If Nagato were to come out Amaterasu would be absorbed also kisames water is full of chakra which can either be absorbed or blasted away with shinra tensei lol

pain took down jiraiya with low diff inside rain village. even if itachi is a genius, no one can possibly know the secret behind pain unless they met the corps like jiraiya did. so there is no way itachi and kisame would figure out his secret in one fight.

preta path can handle all their ninjutsu, animal path alone IMO can handle kisame. All six of them together with full power is almost impossible to beat due to hax combos.

eventually this two will be overwhelmed by the 6paths specially if they don't figure out naraka path's ability.

I'm gonna give it to Kisame and Itachi. Pain's good, but not good enough for both of them. Kisame's water dome combined with shark bomb jutsus can take down or injure a lot of paths and limit summons and maneuverability.

COUNTERS FOR ITACHI

1. Pain is a Rinnegan user, he know about Genjutsu. He is smart enough to use his shared vision to avoid direct contact. Even if one path is caught in Genjutsu, other paths can attack Itachi.
2. Totsuka can only work on one pain at a time. The path can be Resurrected.
3. Even if his ultimate Susanoo shield, Yata Mirror( which is awesome) protects him, all the paths need to do is survive 5 minutes of fight with him, he will collapse on his own.
4. Amateresu will not cause harm to a dead body if pain is quick to use Almighty push, so that integral body parts do not get destroyed. Again if one body is destroyed, it can be resurrected.

1. Kisame can take chakra with the help of Samehada but he will not be able to get close to him once pain notices. Pain can see Chakra and its distribution better than a MS User.
2. If Kisame uses his water Jutsu, like he used on Killer Bee, pain can use almighty push, not only to repel the Jutsu but to kill him as well. Remember that one small Almighty push broke nearly all of Toad Boss's bones, along with several other toads. A strong almighty push has the range to destroy whole leaf village.

ALLOVER

1. Pain is faster and efficient than Itachi and Kisame due to his shared vision and Ocular abilities(which are better than Sharingan).
2. He was able to stop a punch from SM Jiraya with one hand, showing that he is quite strong. I doubt Itachi has the same strength. Kisame might equal him in strength.
3. Pain doesn't feel Pain (LOL).
4. Itachi and Kisame have no counter if pain uses chikaba Tensei at the beginning.

Yeah but Shinra tensei would get rid of the dome or it could just be absorbed lol so i dont see that being much of a problem for Pein =D

i dont agree since itachi is a genius no feats for 6paths of being genius and get caught to jiraiyas genjutsu i know its sound genjutsu
but 6pths is not that smart

Although it affects the brain the Six Paths of Pain share the same vision. This means that if Itachi connects with one, all six, including Nagato, will be seeing Itachi's Sharingan. This will affect each brain individually. One could assume that Sharingan can work on Rinnegan. Rinnegan isn't godly on a level where it could withstand a powerful ocular technique.

Also, Nagato has been hit by Amaterasu before. He would have been dead if it weren't for the Edo Tensei repairing ability.

Pein can sense when Itachi is going to use amaterasu and stop him before using it. Even if he does manage to hit a couple it will still take time for them to burn. Remeber as well they can be revived. Also tosuka can be dodged so it wont be as simple as just withdrawing the sword and sealing a pein, there pretty damn fast from what we have seen lol
Also you forget CT a tech i dont think Kisame and Itachi can beat lol He might destroy his village in the process but i dont see Pein losing the way you said at all lol
