I think the Elder Son's Dojutsu is a combination of Byakugan and Sharingan..

Nice theory, but there's one problem. We don't know that the elder son ever lost his hatred or even had a lot of love to begin with. In fact, based on Tobirama 's logic, Sasuke would need more hate to get that eye. Of course I see some flaws in Tobirama 's logic too. I think that whole thing about hatred powering up the eye only works until you reach mangekyo because Obito's hatred is through the roof and he only has mangekyo (rinnegan doesn't count for him because he did not awaken it.). The only reason why Obito is not going blind is probably because of the senju DNA.

Sasuke does not need an upgrade, he has EMS! These are powerful enough as it is, and give him unlimited (chakra depending) use of his MS techniques. We have not even seen what he is capable of now to make that assumption.

Naruto is going to lose the tailed beast power, because its just too powerful and defeats the purpose of the Older vs the Younger brother theme. Naruto will end up with SM only. That is how they will be equal.

Cool theory. If this is true, then the reason why Itachi never had the same dojutsu could be because he never was pure, even if he did a lot good for the Konoha village. He admitted to Sasuke and Kabuto that he lied to himself.

Apparently almost all do have their darkness personality, even Gai. Maybe Naruto is the one who can do the same method to purify the darkness for Sasuke.

Thought about it a little more. It actually makes sense, so I could see something like this happening. Let's think about Byakugan, why can't it evolve to another level? Neither Rinnegan, probably. Only Sharingan has this unique trait to evolve and the cause could indeed be something like your theory. The ancient Sharingan was supposed to be one dojutsu and it alone, like Byakugan and Rinnegan.
