How awkward would it be if Sasuke wasn't accepted by the Leaf Village to even live there? Sure Saduke doesn't care what the likes of Kiba and Shikamaru think of him but I'm sure he'd care much more if Tsunade, the elders or whoever ruled the village (remember Sasuke knows none of this) straight up refused him and still treated him as a rogue ninja for killing Danzo. I think Sasuke might care slightly about their opinions then.

also you talk as if the hokages already approved that sasuke will become hokage and promoted him.Zzzwell news flash they didn't,and their opinion doesn't really matter on the situation,since the village will be ruled by the one who everybody acknowlged and accepted,and the village is the one who will chose its leader,not some zombies.

Well, that was slightly different. At the time, it was thought that Sasuke kidnapped a jinchuuriki from the cloud and that he was an Akatsuki member that all the villages suffered from. The cloud will forgive Sasuke for his attack because of their debt to Naruto now that he saved the alliance countless times so the problem before wasn't from the elders; it was from the other villages that wanted to respond to Akatsuki and from Danzo.

Excuus me, who got elected but Hashirama? Hiruzen was chosen by Tobirama. Tsunade got accepted after Jman refused. So when did the ppl of Konoha get to choose their Hokage?
Again, Konoha 11 know almost nothing, they have only seen the good side of the village. Sasuke stepping up and claiming the highest position in Konoha is a good thing.

Things like being traitor, criminal are just labels, ones he saves few lifes in this war than most of them will calm down.

Smh I know u dislike Naruto for in ur belief he's gained all his powers thur help from someone else..But give credit where it's due..u hating ain't gonna change he is the hero in the story and of the village so his input would matter.

I believe thur Sasuke's current actions things will change simply because it's like basically making another Madara all over again..I still don't think he'll become Hokage but when they fight it out for the title everyones opinions will change with Naruto's input to it..Remember he has a special "gift" that effects everyone from the toughest like Tsuande and Raikage which are suppose to be hard asses and they still changed
