So, hey, that was a pretty wild chapter. Anyways it's 7 AM and I'm feeling a little groovy so I'm writing a review today for my first time!
As predicted, Sakura is shocked to see Minato; however she doesn't seem surprised that he's Naruto's father (just shocked that he's there) -- maybe she already knew that? In any event, as many logical fans predicted last week, we saw the blast from the Juubi's attack...Minato handled it the same way he handled the Kyuubi's bijuu dama from ages ago.
Following that, we got a page that's going to make some NaruSaku fans fall out their chairs. Yes, THE 4th HOKAGE asked Sakura if she was Naruto's girlfriend. Naruto confirms this in a comedic manner as he always has (except for in the Land of Iron) and Sakura goes ape-shit on him which causes Minato to be reminded of Kushina. Along with this, we learned that Naruto's lack of surprise in seeing his father was because he sensed them in Kyuubi mode! Talk about being an adept sensor...
Following that, we have the other Hokages making a late but flashy entrance...and TOBIRAMA SENJU admits that Minato's S/T jutsu is better than his. Of course everyone's jaws are dropping (there's probably a ton of bad breath -- I mean these guys haven't brushed their teeth in days and they're all opening their mouths at the same time). But they're even more surprised when we see MADARA UCHIHA so excited for his date rape. And Hashirama is just leading him on...But of course they're going to stop that maniac of a Juubi before they get to that stuff.
And yet we have another surprise. I mean for months, all the fans have been predicting was that Minato would give Naruto the other half of the Kyuubi's chakra...but they were WRONG. The 4th Hokage has taken control over the chakra and now can use a chakra mode like Naruto (like father, like son, eh?)! It's pretty crazy I mean at first I thought it was Naruto until I read it a little more. At this point everyone is riding Minato's D cuz he's so awesome (even Kurama, heh). However this is where things get even MORE interesting. (Ridiculous, right? Kishi outdid himself this time)
We got the 4th Hokages doing some combo Sound-4 like shit. FORMATION OF the 4 RED SUNS. I don't know how they all know this stuff, but I'm quite certain everyone is relieved. Not to mention Hashirama's sage mode allows him to do the Rikudou sealing similar to what we saw Naruto perform on the Kyuubi. And just as they finish sealing it, we have TAKAAAAA on the scene. Although Suigetsu and Karin weren't in the entrance, let's just pretend they were.
Needless to say, a certain girl goes coconuts when she sees Sasuke. Sakura. I think I captured her reaction accurately in this gif:
But yeah, Sasuke just uses his one word charm..."Sakura." (like he did with Karin earlier). This guy is just too much of a player. And then everyone is going balls over him (in a negative way, with the exception of Ino)...but he comes out and says he will protect the village and BECOME HOKAGE. Yes, you guys that predicted Sasuke becoming Hokage were right (so far)! He desires to become Hokage...to right the wrongs of the Uchiha and change the way things are yada yada. Surprisingly Naruto doesn't agree with this (I thought he would, I mean he'd do anything for Sasuke) but merely reflects on Itachi's words about the Hokage being the ones who are acknowledged by everyone (which Sasuke isn't -- yet). And thus their rivalry continues...with Naruto and Sasuke pursuing the title of Hokage. What an insane turn of events. HOWEVERRRR, Naruto said "Leave him to me" before standing in line to compete with him. Does it mean they will fight over the title of Hokage? It's quite possible! Maybe we will have our Naruto-Sasuke fight after all...
Hashirama scolds them for screwing around, and Naruto wants to get a little alone time with Sasuke in this fight, but did he really think Sakura was gonna stand around doing nothing? It's a bit ironic she did nothing the whole battle except for heal Naruto, but now that Sasuke is here she suddenly has some fighting capability. So team 7 reunites (as the chapter title suggests) not as a team of Konoha, but as a powerful Sannin! Sasuke doesn't really care (or at least he doesn't show it) but Naruto is glad and they get ready to kick some ass! (the Juubi's I think, if he has one)
Overall this was a pretty awesome chapter, full of surprises. I'd rate this 10/10. Oh by the way, do pay attention to the emotive faces in the chapter...they were pretty entertaining!
