Minato taming Kurama's Chakra?

How and when did Minato tame the kyuubi's Yin half; unless the Yin half does not have a consciousness as the yang half and was purely chakra meaning Minato would have naturally had full access to if... however if so, he should have only been able to use the kyuubi's cloak as Tailed beast V1 or V2 but it would make sense if he also employed the Torii Seal on the Kyuubi's yin half while his soul and it's chakra were intertwined within the Shinigami as Kushina thought him other fuuinjutsu.

Good thought but I don't think so.That seal was conducted on Naruto with the Yang half...the yin half was already extracted. I'm not seeing how it would affect the other half.

He has the chakra, not the bijuu so he doesn't need to tame it. He's equal to Naruto cuz he has half the chakra

Well seeing as how the yin chakra is usually associated with spiritual chakra and is the chakra that is used in genjutsu (or something like that) I would imagine that it is the yin chakra that has the consciousness (if that's even how it works)

Minato clearly has excellent chakra control. And he's a genius. People are acting surprised because it took Naruto forever to control the chakra but this is MINATO. Naruto can't even do Rasengan with one hand yet ofcorse he's going to be a slow learner

Bro, this hit the nail right on the head, he sealed kurama's chakra in himself the same manner he sealed it in naruto, but he just has full access right from the get go.

Hmm I doubt it's the quantity of chakra. If naruto's mastery of chakra affected the kyuubi's chakra in totallity both Kin and Gin should have been able to use Kyuubi mode. For how it's portrayed, just having a portion of the kyuubi's chakra to your use would make you a pseudo jinchuriki [Sora, Kin and Gin], but it's only after the Torii seal that the bridge between the wielders chakra and the bijuu form that special bridge. ​

Interesting point. Are you saying that he could have done this after being resurrected? However i doubt it's simply controlling the kyuubi's chakra [preventing it from taking over], the seal involved plays some significance. ​

Can't be. He didn't perform the 8trigrams seal on himself but rather seems like he used Shiki fuujin to seal kurama's chakra together with his soul. I see the latter being fully posssible. ​

this is a somewhat easy question. There are several possible answers.

1. The hype about deathgod is true, and the victims in its stomach are subject to fighting each other for eternity. While fighting minato got more skilled.

2. When seperate from kurama, the yin half of his chakra is just pure chakra, similar to the chakra pulled from kurama by naruto....Free from all the hatred and anger directly(since it is not connected to kurama)

3. Kuramas concsciousness was with his yin half as well, but minato was able to overcome all darkness in his heart(or maybe he never has any) and was able to do a tug of war with the yin half of kurama.

4. Minato was able to tame the yin half of kurama.(befriend it)

5. Minato used special fuuinjutsu to gain access to all the yin chakra without the hate, and is capable of beast mode with it(plausible)
