[Spoilers] Only kyuubi mode stage 1

Hello everyone.

So, I just finished reading chapter 631.

And when Minato entered Kyuubi mode, I was actually in some way disapointed - since it took Naruto so long.
But then I noticed something - That Minato is "only" in stage 1 (even though that's still quite a feat!).

And my theory is that the chakra part inside him doesn't have "the mind of Kurama"!
If we presume this, it actually makes quite sense. Since he would then have full access to the chakra, without Kurama trying to steal his in return.

I've provided some pictures where you can see the differents in stage 1 and stage 2.

So while it does look quite alot like Naruto's Stage 2 mode, you can tell by the markings that it is, in fact "only" stage 1

But damn.. They sure do look alike!

This is like KCM Minato + Cloak-> Bijuu mode Naruto's appearance

Minato can't have Bijuu mode, unless Kishi is trying to say that two Kuramas are exisiting...

Well, it's right there's the markings on the hand - but all the other parts of the body is clearly covered in "stage 1".
One of the main differences in the two stages (when it comes to apperence), is the large black part on the chest, and the lack of the spiral on the chest aswell.

My guess is that it's either a drawing mistake from Kishimoto, or that it's because the stages doens't exately look the same for everyone who use it.

Damn - Thats one huge font in all caps!
But it wasn't when he changed seal he unlocked stage two - in fact he only unlocked stage one when he changed seals.
It was when he completely unsealed Kurama he unlocked stage two, since Kurama was then able - and willing to give him alot more chakra

I totaly agree! The second stage is due to Kurama willingly giving up his chakra - and even producing extra when needed.

Aye - Exately! And even though Kurama is "a malevolent mass of chakra", i doubt he can have two "minds".
So I agree - It's like when Naruto played tug of war with kurama - where Minato can now draw a bit of Kuramas yin chakra at a time.

Sadly I agree - At first I was sure it was Naruto, but when he started talking, and ofcause using the kunais to mark the places, I figured it had to be Minato. But perhaps Kishi is just a bit to used to draw Naruto in that form? And since there's quite alot of white colors in that form it might be a bit difficult to draw face characteristics

ABOUT Black markings on Minato's hand

Naruto in Bijuu mode has black marking on inside part of his hand(red circle around his hand) and Until know nowhere Minato shown to have same black marking on inside part of his hand.

ABOUT Minato's cloak looking exactly like Naruto's in Bijuu mode

Naruto's chakra cloak in Bijuu mode has holes in it(red circle marked by me)
Besides Naruto's Bijuu mode cloak has irregular shapes, as it's end are random length in different place.

While Minato's cloak:

Look's especially at red line following Minato's cloak shape, we can see that his cloak has regular shape and seems to be straightforward

ABOUT Minato's marking on his legs

As I marked in first picture, Naruto's feets have black marks as well as his legs, while in Minato's case:

Here, we see that Minato's chakra cloak lacks black marking at end of his legs(bottom part) and completly lack of black markings on his feet.
