Well, awesome theory as always Derp :D

As always you found very good evidences to back up your theory and make it more beliveable as well as more possible to happen.

It is really hard to argue with your theory, because you have always easy to understand conclusion to which lead entertaining and great content of you theory back up with manga scans/statements.

However I am personally against idea of Sage of six paths to have red hair. I would like more yellow, white, silver or even black because they would fit him much better. I especially like Sage's look in your signature with white and blue mixed together

Besides I am supporting idea of Sage of six paths being Half Uzumaki and Half Hyuuga, that could be reason for him to not have red hair, but instead silver, white or blue one...

Anyway great work Derp, splendid theory as always

You're so sure, that you say it's definitely...but it's only your assumption. You may be right, or not.
The manga is drawn in black and white so I don't think it could be said for sure what colour the Sage's hair is. And we can see his hair actually, only we can't see his face, so why do you think that Kishi shows his silhouette to hide his red hair? o_O
+Kushina's hair didn't turn white...and Mito had her red hair even at old age.

But uzumaki's red hair change to white is a result of overuse of their chakra like it happened with Nagato. Neither Kushina nor Mito had overused their chakra.

While he was the juubi host, he was sillouhetted. When it was split, he wasn't.. How obvious can it get? Obviously he's trying to hide the appearance, but it was the juubi's cloak..

Just a point of clarification for people who are trying to actively argue against this thread. The thread itself isnt meant to be strong evidence for the Rikudo being the SO6P but rather is meant to add to the collective of threads that have already been made, mostly by him, that each give there own strong reasons for why the Rikudo is an uzumaki.

This is merely a keen observation that adds to why people should believe the Rikudo is an Uzumaki, but if you havent already seen the other reasons that have been given some time ago then it may do little to convince you. Here are some links to his other threads regarding this issue. [ ][ ][ ]

How does derp's ween taste ?

Lol it's not like I'm a crazy fan or something but seriously if you check his other theories about how can the sage be uzumaki, you'll find out that they are very detailed.

I agree completely. You are one of the few people on here that can still make great threads. While I agree there still is another side. The red haired trait can be written as a bi conditional statement. If you are a full blooded Uzumaki then you have red hair, however it does not work the other way. IE Having red hair makes you a full blooded Uzumaki. A prime example of this is Mei Terumi, the fifth Mizukage.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks, well we must consider that the Uzumaki red hair is a clan trait (along with their Fuuinjutsu), and not an individual hair color like say Gaara's or Sasori's, this is a specific tribe whose full blooded members all have red hair (Naruto is half), so logically following the material conditional if..then, the Rikudou as an Uzumaki must necessarily have red hair, some may argue that it could not be the case that Rikudou may not necessarily have red hair however this is impossible, Rikudou Sennin, being one of the progenitor Uzumakis, must have red hair, in order for the later generations of Uzumakis to have a strong gene for red hair, because red hair is a recessive gene in humans, so it follows that their ancestors like Rikudou must have red hair.

That makes sense. But how does the Uzumaki continue to express a recessive gene?

If Rikudou's wife was a Hyuuga for example and she had phenotype Rr and Rikudou had phenotype rr it would produce 50% Rr and 50% rr. If this was the case the Hyuuga's would possess the recessive trait for red hair but we have never seen a single Hyuuga with red hair.

However if his Hyuuga wife had a phenotype of RR and Rikudou rr this would make 100% Rr and none of the children would have red hair.

Well tbh I dont even think Rikūdou had a wife, his sons were creations like the Bijūs with Creation of All Things, and the Shinobi-era Uzumakis did not descend from Rikūdo himself but from Rikūdo's Uzumaki relatives, only the Senjus and Uchihas are his descendants, their ancestors, the Elder and Younger Sons that were created by splitting the Yin (Uchiha) and Yang (Senju) of the Jūbi

Uzumakis are just descendants of the senjus... So the so6p is an uzumaki, but also a senju and uchiha.
Naruto is a descendant of the so6p, but all uchihas and senjus are... Naruto is just the one who's carrying on his will and that's why the beasts see the zsage in him

Incorrect, It's the other way around, both Senjus and Uchihas descended from an Uzumaki: Rikudou Sennin. The Uzumakis definitely preceded the Senjus and Uchihas.

The formula is:

Uzumaki+Juubi= Senju and Uchiha.

That may be the case. However if it is Naruto's relation, along with the rest of the Uzumaki's, to the Sage is distant at best. So much so it seems negligible in the grand scheme of things.

Also I feel it is safe to assume the Rikudou is the pinnacle of the Uzumaki. Why would he want to "end" his line and instead create two new clans?

I believe Rikudou is an Uzumaki, however the intricacies are still a matter of question.
