Holy shit dude. Did you really just call orochimaru the weakest of the akatsuki? Oro is easily the strongest akatsuki member, especially with ET. Regardless, just wow. Without et and his current jutsu showcase, Oro is 3/4 in akatsuki ranking.
I still can't believe you even think Oro is anywhere near the bottom of akatsuki lineup...

If Orochimaru had Edo Tensei when he joined the Akatsuki ( which was way before the village attack at the chuunin exams ) then I will gladly take what I said back. He himself admitted that he was the weakest or one of the weakest at the time he joined. Now he has a wider array of jutsu and more experience, so if he were to join back now ( if there was an Akatsuki to join back to ) he would easily be one of the strongest, but back then? Not so much.

Itachi deserves to be 3rd strongest ninja ever for many reasons:

- He defeated nagato easily
- He defeated deidara easily
- He defeated orochimaru so easily
- He killed all uchiha members easily
- He defeated kakashi, asuma and kurenai easily
- He was playing with kabuto before he defeated him .
- Nobody can counter his genjutsu beside susanoo is so powerful.


I don't think either sasuke or naruto can beat anyone of those opponents easily like itachi did.


Finally I am not itachi fan but I admit he's the 3rd strongest ninja ever and anyone denying this are only denying the facts from manga or just playing deniable

No he is not, If u think Itachi defeated Nagato ur cmpltly wrong ofcourse itachi did sealed Nagato but when it comes to one on one match Itachi is no match for Nagato,he can repel any jutsu of Itachi ,he can push Itachi(with susano)miles away frm him since he can pull Toad summons of Naruto,he can even obsorbe susano since it is a ninjutsu,Itachi alone can't destroy planetory divastation only option for Itachi against Nagato is Genjutsu ,i dnt think Nagato would allow Itachi to cast Genjutsu since he know's wat Itachi is capable of, & i dnt think a genjutsu casted by a dojutsu can work against Rinnegan since it is the advnced vertion of MS or it is the origion of Sharingan,Only thing where Itachi is superiour to Nagato is he is higly skilled & smarter than nagato & ofcourse Nagato is pretty sharp since he is able to master all five elements at the age 10,ur sayng that ur not a fanboy but still talkng like a fanboy,,

Nagato was fighting three ninja at once - one is easily Top 5 (Naruto) and the other two are arguably Top 10 (Killer B and Itachi). Of course he would lose fighting this many powerful opponents. Second, Itachi admitted inferiority to who he believed is Madara but in actuality is Obito Uchiha. So this means, Obito and Nagato > Itachi or better yet, Obito >>> Itachi and Nagato >> Itachi. This automatically pushes Itachi out of Top 3. Itachi relies heavily on his Genjutsu abilities which Sasuke and Naruto can disarm (Uchiha Blood and Kurama). This leaves Amaterasu which Naruto can dodge and Sasuke can counter with another Amaterasu. In the finals leaves Itachi's Susano'o which is indeed powerful and hypothetically he is invincible..hypothetically. Itachi couldn't hold up his Susano'o long and would only be used as temporary defense and eventually push himself to defeat due to Chakra Exhaustion. So...

Sasuke >= Itachi
Naruto > Itachi
Nagato >> Itachi
Obito >>> Itachi

I was thinking of armless Oro who took on the 4 tails when i made my statement. Obviously I assumed he'd be stronger with arms, and he wouldn't be fighting with a body that was rejecting him(making him weaker).
If this is true then I concede, but I'll need manga proof of him stating this.

I never said Konan could beat Orochimaru, I said she's powerful, although she could defeat Orochimaru rather easily with prep. Hidan could kill him, you act as though Orochimaru can't be killed, fact is, if Hidan draws his blood, it's over. And yes, I realize his blood is poisonous, but Hidan is immortal, so poison can't kill him.
