He beat Naruto without help at the Final Valley. Twist it however way you want, Naruto's personality resulted in him aiming for the headband and ultimately losing whilst Sasuke was going for the kill- he won single-handedly.

He also beat Deidara who had Tobi as backup on his own? Entirely on his own? What are you even talking about dude.
