This was one of the manga's most balanced and fair fights. Karin was intel support, there is nothing wrong with that. Karin actually proved pretty helpless when trying to save him out of a few instances like when Danzo kicked her.

Sasuke was already weakened at that point. It was not healthy MS sasuke vs danzo , unlike naruto vs pain in which naruto was handed over : all intel on pain, given preparation time and still got his ass kicked so bad that hinata and minato had to come and save him.

I feel like Danzo would've stopped underestimating Sasuke within the first few minutes of the fight. Sasuke showed off everything he had right at the start and Danzo was hardly going easy on him. Danzo wouldn't have held back once he'd died like the 4th time. That's silly.
