what does popularity mean to you ?

i think its is a old term.

when i was in school, people knew me, they thought i funny and smart and good looking. but i never liked going to parties and i never considered that many people my friends. i never needed that face book stuff.

people considered me popular but i never liked that term.


what does popularity mean to you? and were you popular?

EDIT: i ask this because nb reminds me of a school. i used to get in trouble in school a lot too.

Back in high school, I was pretty much known.

If you said my name, people would know who you were talking about.. but I don't consider myself popular. It's just a word losers use to define themselves.

I like to go to parties and socialize, grind, whatever.. and I didn't have FB until Junior Year but still was able to know what goes on and all that shit.

I was popular in high school. I was a star on the football team and funny and smart, but very lazy haha. I didn't like going to parties because I'm a mean drunk so I wasn't allowed to drink. I honestly enjoyed being alone than being with other people

Honestly I liked my friends that weren't considered popular more. I was the kind of guy that would talk to anyone, didn't matter what other people thought or said about you, I wanted to form my own opinion

i never went prom, or school games, or anything.

i spoke my mind, teachers got used to it.

i talked to everyone.

no one tried to actually fight me, i was 6'0 280 pounds. i was not a jock.

but i never got why desperate people threw parties just to be popular, i never drank and i never did drugs.

at school i didnt care about my clothes. i didnt have that much money. i slicked my hair back with gel.

people always talking about jordans, i never understood stuff like that. thats a metro thing to do.

This is alot like myself, I didn't really try to be popular or fit in, I just tried to get things done and have sme fun ;D
