That was referring to FTG not the space-time barrier. They're different jutsus. Another thing is that if the jutsus worked the same way, Minato should have shown some exhaustion. He was exhausted from teleporting Kurama, so, if it was the same jutsu, then he should have been visibly tired from teleporting the TBB since it is the size of Kurama's mouth. However, he showed no effort at all when using the barrier.

I get where you're coming from, however, there's a difference between FTG and space-time barrier. Here's some differences that proves that they're different jutsu.

1.FTG requires no hand signs while the space-time barrier did.
2.The FTG teleport of Kurama was instant, space time barrier was not.
3.Contact with the target is required with the target for FTG, while space-time barrier is just that, a barrier, no contact was required. Once an attack get's a certain distance, the barrier will teleport an attack without it touching Minato.

Since these are 2 different jutsu, chakra consumption is different, which would explain why Minato can effortlessly teleport tailed beast bombs.
