I didn't ask this in fairy tail forum because I am sure this has been made million times before .

And I didn't find a recent answer .If there's a 2nd season I wouldn't know .

I finally started watching fairy tail [the anime ] a week ago .

And I am in episode 132

I am so sad because I am close to the end {episode 178} :NO: . That's why I want to know if there is a second season .

I am sooo in love with this anime :T_T: :nuts:

I will read the manga but not right now .

So I guess no one know yet .

atleast they didn't say it stopped for ever right ?

I think its stopped indefinitely. Like Bleach. Maybe Funimation will get back to Dubbing the series but until that or the Jap dub continues, its Manga all the way.

I didn't know that i was just watching non stop .

I don't know a lot about fairy tail like i know naruto .

SOOO.... I have been doing a lot of researching and just trying to find the most i can about why it stopped or when its going to start up again.... if it is. So my top reasons are:

1) the Show is taking a break until they find a voice actor exactly like that of Aya Hirano aka Current Lucy.... many other shows were affected as well. some kinda BS *** Scandal got her booted from voice acting which i dont understand
2)the Show went on hiatus cuz its like 10 episodes away from the manga.
3)the Show is somehow losing popularity and so they stopped (highly unlikely in my opinion)
4)just waiting on when a large enough gap to make another Season week by week, but the Manga chapters are very short compared to the episodes.

So my opinion is they are gonna wait until the manga gets a fair lead from the anime and also til the company finds a new Voice actor for Lucy or wait to make the decision of keeping her... so i'm gonna say sometime between September 2013 to march 2014 is when they would start airing again if it will happen. til then i would just say keep up with the manga cuz that'll still come out and watch the anime again when it continues. Kinda sucks cuz i personally enjoy anime more but itll satisfy the void hopefully =D

and apparently the facebook page says 3-6 months...

No problems.... I mean im like really really into the show so those next few months of waiting are gonna be horrible.... but it couldnt go by faster... but then again SUMMER time. have fun with the rest of the show.=D

I guess i should worry about final exams for now

My final exams is a after a week but all i worry about is fairy tail and sakura in naruto --_--

The way they ended "Part 1"' they will pretty much have to continue it. Unlike Bleach that kind of wrapped things up in the anime to look like it was done.
