I think he explained everything last chapter.
He is just too idealistic person, who can't cope with the world being cruel to him and crushing his dreams. To him true friends don't break promises, so Kakashi is fake, Rin can't be made into Junchuuriki and forced into killing herself, so she is fake too, etc...

Rin chose her death, it wasn't even kakashi's fault, I actually slightly liked his motive better when I just thought he didn't think to ask why kakashi stabbed rin
This is 2x worse than that thought
And also, he could've gotten oro or snake kabuto to edo her back to life, or even backstab madara and have Nagato revive her with rinne tensei

This is actually one of the few people who actually understands what obito is doing. The people who say he is delusional or insane or friend zoned is his reasons for all what he doing, don't understand that obito is a product of the ninja world. The ninja world was bound to create someone like obito, who faith was utterly destroyed by the corruptness of the shinobi system. Kishi naruto universe and our real world are exactly the same in the aspects of both of them are corrupt worlds.
Exactly. Finally, someone with good working brain cells. I cannot believe people here are still perpetually stuck at RIN. Obito is delineating the concept of Subjective reality, versus the non-existing Objective reality. All our realities are self-constructed, hence we lack the necessary connection to perceive and truly feel another's plight.
Rin was just another victim of the Ninja System's cruel indoctrinated Rubbish to value human lives far less than a Village or nation. This ideal has officially turned it into a juggernaut to which countless lives are sacrificed so the majority can flourish. It's akin to olden times sacrificial rituals.
This system was only made worse by Hashirama's intervention. He started an arms-race amongst the nations by distributing less powerful Bijuus to some nations and more powerful to others to create this strategic discrepancy. This has resulted in countless wars, consistent vying for power, espionage and covert missions at the cost of many innocent lives. Rin, was just one of the many. This tussle for power claimed Pein's village, destroyed Uchiha clan and may others lost themselves to Villages-conducted terrorism; Rock, Mist, and Konoha's root division transgressions would be just a few fitting examples.
Obito wants to eradicate the system at the root level by creating an actual subjective reality. Most of you are far too under-developed and immature to even grasp the underlying mysticism and philosophical view-points of his statements. This is the first time I have realized that how childish, narrow-minded, and ridiculous this base is. Obito has truly turned around into this layered character with actual mystic connotations with a macabre twist.

Didn't you read the latest chapter, according to Obito, Kakashi is an imposter because in his mind Kakashi kept his promise and the Rin that died was an imposter because Rin survives in his mind.
Obito isn't doing this for the world he is doing this for himself, he wants to make his own fantasy world and will kill as many people as it takes to reach his play ground.

The recent chapter is kishi blatantly telling us the readers that obito's true reason are because of the corruptness that the shinobi system entail.

Obito tells Kakashi that the one's who are responsible for what I have become is none other the very system you are fighting for.
Obito saw the true nature of the shinobi system and he most likely knew that if the mist would sacrifice a life to destroy the village for power, what would stop other villages from doing the same. He was right too. Look at the bloodshed that has been caused in the name of power in the past. Like i said in my post the naruto world and our world are just alike in the aspect of them both being corrupt worlds and that obito is the product of their corrupt shinobi system.

He calls the Rin that died an imposter just because he didn't want her to die. That is being delusional.
Saying people are fakes because things didn't go your way, that is definitely a sign of insanity.

He names them fakes cuz they are nothing more then pawns of the system. That kills them and yet they fight for it. In name of peace they wage wars.In name of love they hate and so on.

This guy basically said it better than I could.
I understand obito's reasons, but I don't condone the way he is trying to achieve peace. Honestly, in some ways I think Obito hates who he has become and I do believe Kakashi pegged everything about him right on the head on how obito is using naruto to reject what he has become. But, this is just my take on part of the chapter.
