Could Itachi been capable of handling Kabuto by himself?

Lets say Edo Tensei Itachi never caught Sasuke's attenttion and Itachi showed up at Kabuto's dome by himself, without Sasuke, do you think Itachi would of been able to defeat Kabuto by himself? :erm:
