Chapter 19- A Dark Shadow
Zanji: It?s been a while?Bishamon.
Bishamon: I suppose?so you?ve become the Commander Captain in my absence?couldn?t Central 46 have done better?
Zanji: Watch it, Bisha?I?ll rid you of those thoughts after this *unsheathes zanpakuto* Sever?
Bishamon: So quickly. O_O Then I guess this won?t be too easy. Kenshin?take care of him.
Kenshin: Sure thing.
Zanji: Raika!
Zanji?s zanpakuto took the form of a white longsword with a hook at the end and curved shell-like pipes that formed the hilt. Flames were being emitted from the pipes in of the sword.
Zanji: This is my zanpakuto?and Bisha, it?s over for you. I?m going to end you right here and now!
Zanji swung his blade at Bishamon and a mixed flame of fire and lightning went toward him, but suddenly Kenshin?s blade stopped the flame and hit in back at Zanji, which Zanji sidestepped, making a crater in the ground. Kenshin pointed his sword at zanpakuto and then he stabbed its blade into the ground.
Bishamon: That?s new. The last time we sparred, Raika could only use fire, which was strange for its name. Kenshin?finish him off.
Kenshin: It?s been such a long time since I?ve released my zanpakuto, I may not be able to defeat you so quickly. It?s been a long time?
Zanji: You think you can defeat me so easily. How dense you are. I?ll rid you of that arrogance and stop you both once and for all. *swings zanpakuto and a wave of lightning shoots at Kenshin*
Kenshin: Swallow his Soul?Umbra. U_U
Kenshin?s reiatsi surrounded him in a dark aura of great power and his sword changed into a pure black one-handed longsword. As the wave of lightning approached him, he effortlessly cut through it with Umbra and the wave completely dissipated.
Kenshin: Hurry up and come. If you won?t, then I will. *charges at Zanji*
Kenshin and Zanji exchanged attacks but Zanji overpowered Kenshin and blasted him back with an intense amount of reiatsu. The ground was set ablaze and it ripped as the lightning sparked through it.
Kenshin: Amazing?but, we?ve used up our time.
Kenshin stabbed Umbra into the ground and it glowed purple and began to emit a huge amount of dark purple smoke that surrounded everywhere within a one mile radius. Bishamon and Kenshin jumped high into the air and disappeared quickly, saying a few words before leaving.
Bishamon: We?ll be back, Zanji. And next time, your life will end! See ya later, Commander Captain.
Zanji: :| Dammit?
At the Squad 11 Battle Room?
Ikkaku: Whew?not bad at all?
Ikkaku had several burns and cuts, but it was nothing major. Tobi on the other hand had several cuts and wounds and some were deep.
TOBI!: I can say the same about you, Madarame-san. You?re strong.
Ikkaku: You too.
Tobi and Ikkaku were locking weapons. They had both already released their zanpakutos and the battle had been going on for about ten minutes now.
Ikkaku: But?this is it for you, Tobi. Split! Houzukimaru!
Suddenly, Ikkaku?s zanpakuto split into three pieces connected by a chain and the blade end flipped backward and then the opposite blade end flipped forward and slashed downward, cutting Tobi across the chest. Tobi fell down on his back, defeated.
Ikkaku: Well, that was one hell of a warm-up. Not bad, Tobi?not bad at all.
At the Kidou Corps Captain?s Quarters?
Akira: Would you mind teleporting me there? I have a bad feeling that something?s wrong in Seireitei.
???: Of course. We should leave immediately.
Akira: Thanks a lot, Hinamori-san.
Hinamori: Kūkanten'i!
Akira and Hinamori suddenly teleported to a large room with 46 seats in a circle in multiple rows. But strangely enough, everyone in the chairs were dead, save for a few.
Akira: What happened here?! O_O
Central 46 Judge: His?Hisakata?you?you aren?t allowed here.
Akira: Bullshit! How can you say that in your current condition. You should be happy that I arrived before you died! Hinamori, heal him.
Hinamori: Yes, Akira-kun.
Suddenly, Kenshin came out from the shadows holding two things in his hands. In one hand was a dead arrancar, and in the other hand was the hogyouku.
Akira: O_O Who are you?
Kenshin: Hmm?the 8th Division Captain. What a surprise. I never though I?d find you here. Looks like there?s three sides in this.
Akira: Answer me!
Kenshin: I?m here to destroy the Hogyouku which was sealed here in the Central 46 court. I found this guy, this arrancar here, sneaking in to steal the hogyouku, but he?s stupid for trying to get it. We?ve got a far greater object. The Chishiogan.
Akira: You bastard?when the hell did you???
Kenshin: None of your business. It?s an amazing item though?I?ve got to give props to Kiyoshi and Urahara. They put together one hell of an item.
Hinamori: O_O No way! Akira-kun, move!! Hadou #84: Kyousei Gouka!!
As Hinamori said those words, a huge blast of dark fire blasted from her hand and engulfed everything in its path in a hot, blazing flame.
Kenshin: Bakudou #81: Danku
A huge shield of concentrated spirit power formed in front of Kenshin and the blast of fire blasted off of it and exploded, burning the entire room.
Hinamori: O_O Incredible. A rogue shinigami deflected my kidou with Severing Void. To think that these Ryoka are this powerful?
Akira: Hinamori-san?please leave now. I don?t want you to get in the cross fire of this battle. My shadow may swallow you by accident.
Hinamori: ???o_o? okay Akira-kun. *leaves*
Kenshin: Shadow? Is your zanpakuto Dark-Based.
Akira: O_O Yeah. You?re quite inquisitive.
Kenshin: Interesting. My zanpakuto is Dark-Based too. Let?s see who?s is stronger. *eyes glow with a black flame*
Akira: *places hand at the top left of face* Sorry?but I won?t be releasing against you.
Fragments of pieces of bone formed out of nowhere and began to form a shape on Akira?s face?it was a mask. The mask quickly formed completely and next, Akira?s hands were covered by the same type of material that the mask was made of.
Kenshin: O_O A hollow mask?
Akira: That Chishiogan?Urahara and Roku tried it on me to make a complete Vizard because my powers were incomplete. Now die, Ryoka.
