All by myself? Probably not. If I had a person to talk to plot wise and all, most likely. It wouldn't be as deep as Kishi's though. His has deep roots in Japanese mythos. If I were to write it. . I'd be more about the ongoing plot without little easter eggs that give the story depth.
So. . Yeah, if I had a friend to help me with the plot and character dialogue, probably could. Not to discredit Kishi by saying some nobody could do a better job than him...
Just he's constantly changed the story and backstory to the point where I can't look at it too linear. I have to suspend my ability to disbelieve even more so.
Like Orochimaru was still with root and Konoha when he found Kabuto, but he was also done with Akatsuki at that point. . ? So he was in Akatsuki and a root agent at the same time. According to the Kabuto flashbacks, that is.
Ninjutsu and moves would probably not be sooo bad. . .And by bad, I mean OP.
It'd be more balanced and more drawn out.... Not sure if you're asking if I were to write Naruto, or a story all by myself...
But give me a professional illustrator, a buddy or two who know what I'm doing and can double check things with and I might be able to. . .
