I found this useful bit of information on another forum, and I thought it was important enough to share it with you guys. Since this quote caused such a shitstorm, it would be good to put this quote to rest or to understand the real meaning behind it (especially after 629):
Obito was basically taunting Kakashi... Hence why Obito started to laugh one page later when Kakashi had a mini-mental breakdown.
I think people should know:
In the chapter that he first starts talking to Kakashi about it, Obito says, "お前がリンを。。。殺しにしたから。。。だろうな”.
This more accurately translates to, "Maybe/Probably (in an ironic, taunting sense), because you killed Rin."
So those who link the page that shows, "Because you killed Rin" are referencing a translation that is not only incomplete, but fails to show the actual behavior and intention of his choice of words.
