Sasori can counter every move Itachi has

And Itachi's eye sight is bad. He wasn't able to dodge a ridged shuriken so he won't win without a scratch. Sasori wins I agree.

Sasori is the worst possible match up for a live non edo Itachi. He beats him quite easily.

List of counters Sasori has for every attack Itachi could use:

1. Genjutsu/tsukuyomi: This overrated ability is completely useless against a puppet. The Hiruko puppet is controlled by chakra strings, how can itachi make eye contact with a doll?? Even using his stupid weak ass finger jutsu is useless since the puppet's eyes are'nt Sasori's own.

2. Ametarasu: This one gets trolled hard. After realizing that his genjutsu is a fail, he'll use this after having wasted chakra using tsukuyomi, then waste more chakra on ametarasu. Only to realize that Hiruko was just a puppet.And sasori can use his chakra strings to throw away the Hiruko puppet caught in Ametarasu, like kankuro did in the 5 kage arc. At this point Itachi would've already used about 50 % of his low stamina level.


3. Susanoo: The 3rd kazekage keeps susanoo busy, and in the process real Sasori uses poison gas to incapacitate Itachi. No way that susanoo can deflect gas. Having been thus incapacitated, Itachi who is fatigued by now thanks to the poison, can't keep susanoo up. Then poisoned kunais or 1000 puppets kill Itachi. Plus totsuka is'nt gonna seal a dead body that is'nt even alive(the 3rd kazekage).

4. Izanami: Sasori accepts his destiny, he never acted like Kabuto so this tech is'nt even working.

5. Crow clones: These are used to blind/rush an opponent like Itachi did to Sasuke and Kabuto. But a controlled puppet does'nt feel blinded/rushed. Again this tech is useless.

6. Shuriken techs: Sasori is very swift with hiruko's tail and the flying daggers from hiruko's arm, he can deflect the kunai. At any rate simple kunai won't crush the first puppet even.

Yata can NOT be broken anyway, so Itachi is likely to be almost invulnerable

eye and chakra aren't everything
also Sasuke couldn't do crap against Kabuto, Itachi defeated him
not to mention that Itachi is more skilled/intelligent
Sasuke was saved by the plot only 72518 times
Itachi never wen't serious against anyone and won all his fights
he's clearly better than Sasuke

Yeah it's possible, but this is just a "what if" scenario.....and in any "what if" scenario, anything can happen.

Having powerful techs and counters doesn't mean he'll win. It all depends on the level of skill they operate.

and as far as the majority goes, most people see Itachi having more skill than Sasori.

Sasori can probably win, but in my opinion, it's unlikely the outcome.
