Itachi one of the strongest and wisest shinobi losing to a pupet master that lost to sakura and a granny? lol i dont think so. sure people can speculate what one character's attack can counter from another but from what the manga shows we can clearly see that sasori is not at all on the same level as Itachi no way. im an orochimaru fan so don't anybody think i say this as an itachi fanboy's rant, im just speaking the truth here.

OT Itachi can beat him high diff imo he can see the chakra flow so he will be able to detect his heart and amaterasu it while Sasori transplants it from an amaterasued puppet to another one, yeah it's fast but Itachi has 5 in speed and good speed feats so he has a good chance

Seriously though, come on, guy.

1. Genjutsu/tsukuyomi: This overrated ability is completely useless against a puppet.

And yet it's used on entities of pure chakra: the bijū. Sasori isn't surely immune.

Only to realize that Hiruko was just a puppet

Itachi would know Hiruko was a puppet right away via seeing chakra through physical constructs.

3. Susanoo: The 3rd kazekage keeps susanoo busy

For about two seconds.

and in the process real Sasori uses poison gas to incapacitate Itachi.

Because it worked on Sakura... so obviously it will work on Itachi.

4. Izanami: Sasori accepts his destiny

By turning himself into a puppet or by ultimately allowing himself to be killed out of guilt?

5. Crow clones: These are used to blind/rush an opponent like Itachi did to Sasuke and Kabuto. But a controlled puppet does'nt feel blinded/rushed.
