im not questioning itachis smarts and im well aware that his intellect is among the best but i just think people take that one statement made by the 3rd and make it out to be more than it is

the thirds statement was an upgrade from kabuto, kishi was just emphasizing a point.

im not being biased at all i just named one possibility i never said it would happen 100% of the time i know that sasori would not beat itachi 100% of the time but there is still a chance for sasori to win even if that percent is 1

also isnt it biased to say itachi one shots with amaterasu when that wouldn't be the case every time as sasori has hiruko which amaterasu would have to burn 1st so sasori in theory would be able to escape and amaterasu can leave itachi vulnerable
but with that said i know itachi would not rush amaterasu

Indeed that is not Itachi's fighting style; however once you can note vividly an opponents weakness you can make a well refined post. Sasori has both intellect and arsenal against him (given the the Sharingan's and Mangekyou Sharingan's abilities respectively), not to mention he has no way of landing solid attacks on Itachi; also lacking defense against things such as Totsuka no Tsurugi if Itachi decides to initially/ in the latter parts to bring out heavy artillery. Inevitably he will lose.

You can believe anything you want, shikamaru displayed remarkable skill during the chuunin exam.
He was a genius, and at age 8 he had the wisdom to decide what is right and wrong for the village correct?
Well kabuto said he was such a great genius that he can predict, and read everyone's thought while using it in battle against any opponent.

i know that, thats what i pointed out in my first post but, i will look at each individuals chances of winning and sasori does have a chance to hit itachi, like if itachi suffers damage from amaterasu then i believe that would be sasoris best bet for winning also sasoris secret core could give him a great surprise attack as he can transfer bodys but this can only work once as itachi will figure it out and follow it with the sharingan so in this fight i believe it would be in sasoris best interest to end it as fast as possible before itachi gets wind of his core
