Exactly How Strong Is Danzo?

As title says, I have a quick question if he didn't have his few izanagis, would he have been killed so easily or would he had been not so careless about himself due to his confidence in the izanagi? I mean at some point, he got hit by shuriken and he actually died to that, come on...no main character dies that way, especially not one so powerful and yes it is izanagi, but even with his izanagi in his inventory, should he be getting killed by shurikens?

I believe it is because Danzo had so many Sharingan's that he acted careless in his battle against Sasuke.

I think he is quite capable without his sharingan and mokuton. He has too wind techniques and a good summon. But without the exclusions he is not kage level IMO

that's what i am hoping was the reason for him dying so carelessly and easily multiple times

Well he was careful and reasonable even with Izanagi, as he had used it assuming he would have to save some of it for Tobi.

Aside from that, he is a Wind Element user (an element that is supposedly rare in Konoha) that can be used to amplify his weaponry. His main sharingan influences the minds of whomever he targets.

I'm not sure exactly which point this is, but this is Danzo, an older man. No matter what kind of shinobi you are, you still get ruined by shuriken if you get hit by them, unless your skin is powerful.

Well the key to the battle for Sasuke was his Susano'o in order to overcome the series of intense attacks and be able to attack him back. Without Izanagi, Danzo would probably play it a bit safer (making it harder to kill him) but would lose the offense barrage that he used with Izanagi. Remember when he realized that he couldn't activate Izanagi in time? He improvised and decided to tap into Hashirama's power to create a huge tree [and if you think about it, it's faster than 3 hand seals so that's something]. There's obviously Shisui's eye to think about as well. I don't really want to place him in a particular category though...

Yeah, they nerfed that thing its feaking epic, i even looked up mythology on elephants n stuff apparently they steal dreams it should have had like a technique that can knock out the opponent and eat evergy ot chakara something like that.

Anyone could, if they were spent of their chakra. But of course, they didn't die from shuriken because the manga did not will it!

i think danzo only did it so that sasuke would spend more and more of his energy/chakra so that he would wear him out =D

This also his battle strategy is basically impossible to break save a few ppl like expirenced uchia's could prob break inzangi with they're sharigan or activate Susanno when he does it (I mean itachi was able to activate it when sasuke used Kirin witch is faster then inzangi) (itachi madara sasuke)
Or gaara because even if he use inzangi on gaara his automated sand would protect him from anything Danzo could throw at him while under inzangi if he tries to harm him physically
Among others only ppl I can think of right now tht can **** up Danzo stratiegy
