[Question] Can Shinigami Run Out Of Reiryoku?

Is reiryoku like chakra from Naruto where it people can run out of it? If so how? Aren't zanpakutou spirits the source of a shinigami's reiryoku? That would mean that Zanpakutou spirits can run out as well even though they're spiritual energy itself.

Yes. It's exactly like chakra. they can run out of it during battle and it replenishes with rest. however their zans aren't the source of the spirit energy, they're their own source. their zans are molded and influenced based on their reiryoku meaning they had to have it even before having a zan, hence them being able to use kido. a zan runs out of spiritual energy when its shinigami does.

The Zanpakutos are increasing the users reiatsu and they use it during the fight....so they can run out of it...
When shikai is used, they have less abilities and power but they use less reiatsu...at bankai its the opposite....
All energy skills use reiatsu...Sword abilities, kido, flash step ect...
Also, watch Ichigo's bankai...his robe is part of his bankai so its part of his reiatsu...as the battle keeps up and he gets beaten, he loses it so thats your proof!=D

Yes. As we've seen several times already, when a Shinigami is depleted of reiatsu their Shikai and Bankai reverts to it's unreleased state
