Thanks! The only question is, is gedo mazo the final form, or will it become even MORE human. I wounder what exactly is connection that the sage shares with the 10 tails. He has the rinnegan, which discovers the truth about chakra, and you've got the 10 tails, which is the source of all chakra. It's almost as if the sage was born for the sole purpose of harnessing the 10 tails power.

Well, he doesn't. Gedo mazo is the body of the 10 tails by the time the sage sealed him, and it looks like a human with fangs and multiple eyes.

You might be on to something. Originally he was a blob of screaming mess, now he has more structure and as you poimted out the ear and mouths, next he might become humanoid like the statue. Its all there.
