hi all.

first of all i don't know if some1 already maded a post about this yes or no. so sorry if it already happend. (i know there is one from the anime section).

A few days back i buyed a part of the manga volumes 36-39, but when i was reading them i was really surprised. I readed first times on scan, but these parts have different stuff in them. In the scanned parts Shikamaru is smoking a ciggaret, but in these versions he is not. Hidan does also not curse like he does in those scanned parts. So it is just like the anime cencored atleast that is mine opinion.

Now i have a qeustion. i really want to have the manga orginel completed, i buyed my fav parts already (kakashi Gaiden and the fight between Shikamaru and Hidan) its a pain to get the other parts. okay now for the question. Is there in these English/Americans more cencuring? cause i really find it kinda sucky. i really wanted to have the originel pictures.

Can you guys who have readed the English/Americans versions tell me what is even more cencured then in the originel japense versions?

(with the Scanned parts i mean the one that are fansubbed.)

if i like something i want to have it originel. and it is easy if i go on vacation then i can take them wih me and i have something to read in the car, train or plane.

Yes. It's a different feeling knowing you own the chapters. It's also different knowing there are slight differences between translated copies and the original.

Haha, i only saw that as a typo though. But seriously, there are quite a few there.
Oh and tbh, i might have actually bought the volumes, but where i am, it's so behind.

I thought Asuma said... "I leave my will of fire to you" and him smoking the cig reminds him of that will. And Shikamaru started smoking even though he hated it... as a way of forcing himself to grow up, and not be lazy and blow it off...

I just thought that it was very symbolic of their close relationship...


And I think its COMPLETE BS that in the english episodes, they call Sake... Elixer... I mean... seriously...
Think about it... activist groups would try and ban Naruto... if some kid "created an elixer" by combining different chemicals, drank it and died... I'd rather have them think its alcohol... I hated the taste of alcohol until college...
