Season Five is rumored to be the last season due to Eric Kripke's repeated statements of his praised "five year plan", and Jensen Ackles has gone on record in an interview with an Australian News Channel that they thought season 4 would be the last but due to extremely high ratings they were signed on for another season. Season Five will be aired in the U.S. in September 2009, and many speculate it will deal with the signs of the Apocalypse and putting Lucifer back in his prison.

YEAH i want to see what happens between sam and dean idk i think 4th season just ended since and it was that sam killed lillith and thus breaking the final seal yeah they were kind of stupid for not seeing that one coming i originally thought that it would be a final showdown between sam and dean one blessed one cursed see who won but at this point who knows

Yeah I think it was pretty evident with YE plans to break out his father Lucifer had succeeded. It wouldn't feel right if they won and then it just continued with them hunting again. I cannot wait to see how this all ends with a possible war during the season?

but idk how they're gunna pull this one off...like lucifer is summoned in the last episode and bobby is knocked out..whos gunna save em?

Argeed, smallville has gotten sooo played out, i tune in only when nothing is on and my tivo happens to record it...
