Itachi still has KA, the Yata Mirror, and the Totsuka blade at his disposal. There's also the fact that even with Sasuke having calmed down, his intelligence is still inferior to Itachi's, which is a huge part of a fight.

There's no doubt in my mind that he'll surpass his brother in the next few chapters, but as of now, he's still a bit below his brother, in my opinion.

In a serious fight, he would be way more careful, and it would put quite the strain on his body, Sasuke doesn't have that. They are brothers, and Itachi always wanted Sasuke to surpass him.

Facts:

- Before using Tsukuyomi, Itachi needs to activate his Sharingan and/or MS, which would already make people be aware of the attack. Tsukuyomi can't be used without MS. You act as if Itachi already has MS on when he fights

- Tsukuyomi is a close range attack, so long range fighters have nothing to fear with Tsukuyomi. As long as you fight in mid-long range, whether you see Itachi's eyes or not, it would change nothing

- Tsukuyomi is a eye-genjutsu, which means that even if Itachi wants to activate it with his MS, as long as you don't look in his eyes, you've nothing to fear about it

Fact is that anyone who watches into Itachi's eyes is dead, if you really believe that anyone can fight Itachi without looking into his eyes you're totally wrong. Itachi is way too strong and smart and will find a way to force people to watch into his eyes. Besides most characters wouldn't even know about Tsukuyomi so they would have been ****ed right away anyways...

No it's not a fact since like i've said, long range fighters have nothing to fear with Itachi's tsukuyomi whether they see his eye or not. Also, every ninja knows Tsukuyomi now. The goal of this war is even infinite tsukuyomi...

Its hard to prevent his attacks because you'll never know if he's gonna use tsukuyomi or amaterasu, And if you try to predict that he's gonna use tsukuyomi you might just end up getting burned alive

If the fight really was serious, he would have thrown the Amaterasu in his face, not on his wing. It may not put as much strain on Sasuke, but I believe the things I mentioned in my previous post make up for that.

Sasuke will definitely surpass Itachi, but as of now, I don't see him being stronger. Note that when it comes to Top Tens, it should not be judged by a shinobi's performance against another specific shinobi, but rather on overall performance.

All you need is to focus on his right eye and you could see Amaterasu coming while avoiding tsukuyomi at the same time since tsukuyomi can only be released by Itachi's left eye. During the prep time of Amaterasu anyway, there is a pressure that every experimented ninja could notice(Zetsu, Jiraya, Nagato all sensed that pressure)

Focus on his right eye and see Amaturasu coming? HAHAHA, Jiraiya didn't even know what those blackflames were, do you really think that anyone would know which eye uses which technique? HAHAHA.

I agree, Sasuke hasn't surpass itachi yet... Itachi still have Yata mirror,Sword of totsuka, Izanami and Yaska Magatama... Jutsu's sasuke don't have...yet

It seems illness was his only true defeat. I still don't know why people say Sasuke killed him. He died from being sick. Yes Sasuke weakened him greatly, but his death came after he had a supposed heart attack it seems. He held on long enough to scare Sasuke and then poke him.
