I'd still put EMS Sasuke above Itachi, his MS techs are spammable and it seems that Sasuke has regained his sanity, which means he'll put a little more thought into his fights, which is comparable to Itachi.

Unless Itachi was alive and at full health, there is no fact to this. He was ill and let Sasuke win is fact, as well as if he had wanted to kill Sasuke he would have, that too is fact. Anything else is assumption as the man is now dead and Sasuke has his eyes.

Itachi still has KA, the Yata Mirror, and the Totsuka blade at his disposal. There's also the fact that even with Sasuke having calmed down, his intelligence is still inferior to Itachi's, which is a huge part of a fight.

There's no doubt in my mind that he'll surpass his brother in the next few chapters, but as of now, he's still a bit below his brother, in my opinion.

People need to stop claiming Itachi (who is my fav character) is number 1 at everything, when nothing was officially stated and he is now dead and unable to prove anyone's claims. Sasuke will surpass him and that's that. Yes he was a great shinobi, and as Hashirama stated better than even him at being one (again that does not mean he was stronger than Hashirama) and he thought like a Hokage at age 7, but the fact is the younger generation is meant to surpass the older one and it's Sauske's time to become great (ironically I can't stand him lol).

All you need is to focus on his right eye and you could see Amaterasu coming while avoiding tsukuyomi at the same time since tsukuyomi can only be released by Itachi's left eye. During the prep time of Amaterasu anyway, there is a pressure that every experimented ninja could notice(Zetsu, Jiraya, Nagato all sensed that pressure)

Obito is farrr below itachi, yet itachi fell right into Obito's plan, and was successful in tricking itachi into believing he was Madara.

Can itachi control several jinchuuriki? no.

Can Itachi take on version 1 CM Naruto?Probably not.
