He already has the seal. In the last chapter (627 i believe) he stated that he had already placed one and that is how he is going to transport the group that is with him to the battlefield.

I still dont understand how Minato will have the other Half of Kurama's chakra. Minato just sealed it in the RDS the same way Hiruzen sealed Tobirama and Hashirama.
